Okay so this isn’t a prank like our last MW2 screen shot, this is the real deal and ohh boy does it ever look good. From what I can tell the levels so far will be in Russia and Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. Rio will be home to intense gun fights from the way the city is set up, and look for no places to hide if they go into the favelas cause its tin house city. Looking at the snowy screen shot I can’t help but think about playing multiplayer in the snow (anyone remember GRAW 2’s snow maps?) its going to be awesome! Ah well must say the single player story looks to be a pretty explosive one…. will be interesting to see how the multiplayer is coming.

lol @ posting this. The images are not ingame pictures so whats the point. And as far as the trailer goes the graphics look the same as COD4. If they are not going to show any improvement I am not going to buy that game. Thank god PS3 has better titles coming down the pipeline

I for one will be be renting this game, just to play the single player campaign. If the multi-player still consists of those dumb ass perks, martydom, juggernaut and the ability to shoot through solid steel, concrete etc., then it’s a definite pass for me!! There was no cover anywhere in the game, so buildings and objects were useless, they might as well have had just open areas in all the maps, because cover was useless everywhere!
While COD4’s multi-player was addicting (the rank leveling up part of it)… the “run ‘n’ gun” style of play got boring very quickly! The way it was set up, teamwork was never encouraged and it was (a team free for all) just a race to see who could get the most kills, no matter what mode you played.
search and destroy was a team game……….hardcore and normal mode

I own cod4 man. I love it. What I am saying is that I do not see any progression as far as graphical quality between this an cod4. The thing I hate about this game is the fact that they added vehicles. Ask anyone who played socom 3 what happens when u add vehicles to gameplay.

You came off as a fanboy and ill call it like I see it. You bring up the ps3 and downplay one of the biggest and most anticipated sequels in the FPS genre let alone gaming in general… but yeah im the fanboy….
This is the way I look at it
1) This game looks better then COD4, but not by much. Does that make me not want the game? Hell no!
2) If you weren’t a noob, then you would know that in COD4 and 5 you heavily depend on your team for support. The only one that doesn’t matter if you get help is team deathmatch. I would put money that me and 3 of my friends could take out a whole team of 6 just because we know how to communicate with each other.
3) MW2 will sell more then any game this year. Whats the point of that comment OOG? Talking about sales like that makes you the biggest fanboy in this comment section. If thats the case then the Wii is better then the ps3 and 360 combined. Think before you run your mouth next time noob.
4) As for these screen shots, these are all in game models being used. They aren’t amazing like Spenny said they were, but you have to admit the game doesn’t look bad at all. Sure its not Killzone graphics, but what do you expect from a game that only had 2 years of dev time?
5) To me COD4 set the standard of what moderen day shooters should offer offline and online. @ cybercam. If you want cover play R6V or Gears. Dont talk crap because you dont like more realism in games. In real life a freaking .22 caliber can shoot through walls, so why would I not beable to shoot an AK-47 through walls in a video game? Quit crying because you get owned by me all the time online. BTW, there is a ton of cover in the game, you just dont know how to use and take advantage of it. Learn to conceal yourself in the environment.

obviously the sales were a fanboy comment to counteract a fanboy comment….. and it will have the most sales because its on 3 systems…. but I dont come in here like commander has and tries to downplay the game and then brings up the ps3 lineup which this topic has nothing to do with hence I gave his fanboy comment a fanboy response. Lol you think id care about sales of a game and own games like shadowrun and Socom for the ps3? pfft please I play the games… I dont bother sitting here judging photos because in reality gameplay is key.
OOOOOOOOO yeah…… to everyone wondering about a possible Beta being annouced…. my best recommendation is for everyone to make an account on http://www.callofduty.com as well and the infinity ward forums for CoD MW …. because if their is a beta most likely they will cater to their fanbase on their site first…and usually the people with more senority will get first dibs.

You brought up another good point as to why Cod4 is overrated. They will more than likely bring out a beta that will be exclusive to 360 so why should PS3 gamers support this.
Why is it a fanboy statement to say PS3 has a better lineup? You would have to be in serious to denial to think otherwise.
