I refuse to visit N4G anymore! It’s been a couple of months now and I will never give them anymore of my traffic! The things that they do to sensor certain sections of their “undesirable” audience is deplorable. I’ll just use Twitter and Digg to get what news that I can from now on. N4G sucks and I’ll never visit there again!

  • jmd749 says:

you’re going to get alot of hypocrite talk from n4g users, oh well.

that too human footage made me even less interested in the game.

and tor, seriously, you need to improve your inFAMOUS skills, the game looks amazing, can’t wait to get my copy. :P

another day, another DD, keep’em coming, daily, hopefully.

one quick question, i’m going to NY on thursday, when you pre-order inFAMOUS at gamestop, do they give you the uncharted2 beta key then and there?

ps: keep up the good work tor, and i’m really looking forward to your e3 footage, speaking of which, will much of it be in HD? and i suggest to NOT advertise too many of your plans, you won’t want people using your techniques for their sites. keep it on the DL.

  • gameraxis says:

lol u sick bastard, frying innocents lol then trying to throw their dead bodies, i want to get this game so much!,

Its funny thought i thought i saw sucker punch dev saying how much fun it is to throw dead bodies around, maybe its limited because its the demo version?

  • DragonWarrior4 says:

LOL @ Tor fucking himself and everyone up. That shit had me cracking up. He didn’t even use a fraction of his powers in the demo, I hope that he doesn’t think thats all the game has to offer.

  • NoMo_Ciggs says:

Tor you really know how to stay true to your fans bro. To be honest thats tight how you wait til the show to always open your shit people don’t know how much will power that takes especially when its a game or your computer stuff man. Great show can’t wait to see you guys on the satelite or the cable tv man. Have yourself some fun at E3 get yourself just tuned, bombed, juiced, and laced man thats how I would do it.

  • DMasta718 says:

inFamous looks very interesting. Picking that up day one. Too Human doesn’t look that bad but not that interesting. Since I can get it for dirt cheap, I’m sure it’s worth for temporary thrills.

Also, can’t wait for your E3 coverage. Already prepared for E3 week. Raid N4G with your E3 shit so you can get it all lol.

CAN I HAVE INFAMOUS DEMO KEYY PLZZZZZZZ??????

  • pixelsword says:

Cgreviews.com had a story pulled because Sony caught them posting a review that was not only before the embargo, but it was because they haven’t gave out the review copies yet.

    http://www.cgreviews.com/site/blogs/blog1.php/2009/05/11/an-infamous-review

To which the reviewer gave the game an 8.7 off of what had to have been the demo if he hasn’t broken the law, which makes his review lame.

Now, I’m not kicking only them because they are reviewing the game when they never had a copy, I’m also looking at IGN.com as well: if Sony said they haven’t given out any copies yet, then how was IGN able to review the game? I didn’t get the early demo, so I can’t tell you if IGN’s review got all of their footage from the demo plus footage already out online, but if they did fake it to get their review out early, then they deserve the same shame as this fellow. If IGN did get an early review, then why does IGN not only get an early copy, but also the right to break the embargo by posting their video review and score early?

    • pixelsword says:

This is also the reason why sites like metacritic can’t be trusted, as the review was bogus, and therefore the score was as well.

Oh yeah; and I’d like your opinion on PROTOTYPE releasing their trailer before E3; would you say that the developers felt like they had to because of the rave reviews of inFAMOUS? Personally, I don’t see another reason why they would release the trailer this early and at such a time.

      • Most of the press and a lot of gamers have already seen and played Prototype. They had it at the NYCC. Releasing the trailer is just part of the hype train. Both games will be good.

        • pixelsword says:

I guess so. I don’t think PROTOTYPE needs it to be honest. I think if they moderately stream information like they were doing that they would have done better in the in. If they let inFAMOUS get the press now and then they can start sopping up the press a little later after the release of in FAMOUS.

Just like how in the long run the newest Tomb Raider game did better on the PS3 (over the 360) because of the release of Uncharted factored into the equation: since the PS3 owners got a taste of the Tomb Raider genre they wanted more in the end.

Then again, that’s probably why they released information early; so both sides will stay interested…. I guess.

      • Da_Dios says:

In the review Greg Miller said he played the game for about 30 hours, so unless he played the demo that long I’ll assume he played the game and they were able to review early.

        • pixelsword says:

It looks like they pulled the message, but the message which came from Sony directly (if I’m not mistaken) said they haven’t even gave the game out to the media yet, and they were leaning towards accusing the site of having an illegal copy; asking them where did they get the inFAMOUS game from.

  • andy1664 says:

INFAMOUS day 1 buy, hope it has multiple game saves so i can play as the good guy,bad guy and another save where i go postal on everybody and everything.

The only good thing about n4g is it posts a lot of shit in one place. I found your site and hhg quite quickly when i first visited n4g in december, i don’t know how much traffic you get from there, but if a handful of fans find you every month it will mean a lot to those fans. Will be following your E3 footage on the bitbag not on n4g.

  • Liquid_Carbon says:

how you get the red theme not the backgroung just theme

    • Da_Dios says:

You basically create your own theme and save it as a p3t file then put it on a USB stick and plug it into your PS3 then select the theme file of the USB stick. It’s more complicated then that but that’s the just of it.

  • Killa_5150 says:

lol Torrence, you told us your gonan play it for the first time then when i saw the demo you just poped up, it wasnt the intro and you looked confused so iw as wondering, did the demo really pick up from that place? (where the girl is down), because it should be starting when your ontop of the bulding beside the train lol)

And yeah, Infamous turned out to be a sick game (thanks for the guy who let me download it, I dont want to mention names, you guys will hunt him down lmao)

    AWESOME DAVIS DAILY!

  • INTERRERGATOR says:

    TDavis
you are absoulutly right about the N4G. they really turn a blind “eye” to racy/nasty comments. here is an example. HHG had and article on N4G 4/5/09.

HHG was explaining to people how N4G was cuting into his hits or something like that. this is what the guy below had to say.

tell us what u thought of the inFamous Demo on the next DD please, it abruptly ended without u sayin if you think it’s “dope” or “weak”

  • MyPSNisDylanMMc says:

or if its a day 1 purchase now

  • RUBENinAZ says:

All I can say is fuck N4G, I’ll never go there again because of what they’re doing to HipHopGamer ! One Love and Godbless…

  • Cylon360 says:

I will say this for N4G.com, it was because of that website that I found The Bitbag and The HipHopGamer websites. So while N4G.com has become a fraction of what it used to be, nonetheless, it was due to postings there that I found two better sites!

Torrence, is there anyway that you could adjust your website template to fully utilize the entire width of my browser? I have a large 24″ monitor and would love for your website to dynamically adjust the width to account for that. Similar to the “stretch” templates at Blogger.com, in other words. Thought I would ask.

Great website though! I thoroughly enjoy your Davis Daily’s and your Warzone podcasts.
