Weapon X here again with a pretty interesting rumor update. Remember that these are rumors and take them with a grain of salt.
Word on the street has it that EA will be launching their Fight Night Round 4 beta the first day of E3. This beta will run for a total of 2 weeks. I don’t know how you can get in the beta, but this is supposedly what’s coming up.
Sony isn’t about to let EA have all the beta fun. Sony is supposedly launching two betas during E3. These are none other than Uncharted 2 and MAG. No word on how you can get into these, but you can bet I’ll keep my eyes pierced and report back to you guys if these rumors come true.
Lastly, I have an insider reaction to Modern Warfare 2. An unnamed industry insider has played Modern Warfare 2. They couldn’t give us much information about the game because what they saw is still under embargo. What they did tell me was this, “…knowing how u guys liked COD4, you’ll be blown away by some…stuff!” That’s all I needed to hear. I’m going to grind COD4 until November and then cast it away for the new game.

My guess would be they want to stress test the online portion of it not the game itself…
