Ok guys, I promised you I’d post this on the Warzone and here it is. For every prediction I get correct, a random Bitbag fan will receive free E3 swag. All notification will be done via the forumz. If you haven’t created a True Gamer account yet, make one and start posting!
Now for my predictions. I’ve thought really hard about these and even if none of them come true, it’s really fun to post predictions. I’ve literally thought about this stuff for a month and now it’s all here to spark some heated debates.
- Microsoft finally announces Radiant Silvergun for Xbox Live. Treasure already said that if Ikaruga did well on Xbox Live that they would possibly port over Radiant Silvergun.
- Microsoft finances Duke Nukem Forever and the game sees a release date on Xbox 360 and PC. I’ve already outlined this in a post here.
- Sega reaches into the bag of old and pulls out…Panzer Dragoon for next gen systems. I have nothing to back this up. I’m just praying.
- Sony brings back Syphon Filter in next gen form. No data to back this up but come on!!! It just has to happen!
- Squaresoft announces a Japanese version of FFXIII for the 360. I really think this is gonna happen. Could care less if it does, but I just have a feeling it will.
- Squaresoft announces a new Kingdom Hearts for PS3. It’s a no brainer. What else have they been doing?
- Nintendo announces a new Donkey Kong game for the Wii. It’s about time for a new DK. Mario needs to take a back seat.
- We finally get to see the GT5 in full force. Seriously, if they don’t show GT5 I’ll kill someone. It’s due out next year and now’s the time to show the press.
- Turn 10 announces Forza 3. Everyone thinks they are working on this game and we’ve even seen the logo for the game. I’d really like to see Forza 3 go up against GT5 this year.
- Spike shows the new Firepro Wrestling game for next gen. If there’s any chance of me dying during E3, this is the announcement that will kill me. It’s already been announced that it’s in the works. All they need to do is deliver.

Yeah, MS is really due to finally announce a game for 2009. I mean, we’re only almost halfway through the year. Sorry Tor but acting like saving your entire lineup until E3 and leaving people in the dark all the way up to friggin June is insane. In your 1v1 with Aaron Greenberg you were so enthralled with everything he had to say and you never called him on this. In fact, I think you sorta like that MS keeps its entire lineup hidden until midway through the year.
Now MS announces FFXIII for 360 in Japan? Why? The damage is already done. PS3 saw a major boost off the demo’s release and putting it on 360 in Japan would be like putting a bandaid on a broken leg at this point.
I’m completely content with Microsoft waiting until June to announce their lineup. I don’t see why this is a problem.
3+ million PS3 owners in Japan. 1 million 360 owners in Japan. I don’t think anyone would be upset if FFXIII came out for 360 over there.

there is no need for me to say it because (mostly) everyone already knows it.
P.S. although I don’t particularly like him (…thirsty, obnoxious, obvious fanboy…) BraynGiver should be announced as an official bitbagger. Especially since not only is his mic/mouth always open, realistically he contributes more to the show then some (most) of the official bitbaggers.
Speaking of making someone a bitbagger… JMD should also be an official bitbagger. He has always made very good points. If “overly using unnecessary profanity” and “shouting” can get you a spot as a bitbagger, then an intellect such as JMD “should” be a shoe-in.
Considering that everyone has a specific console preference; those preferences should be openly announced. So instead of every topic being a “hey lets all try and gang up on HipHop” session, there could be a segment that allows those that prefer the 360 (YOU, (xbox)Branded-Anthony,BraynGiver, John…) to debate (as a team) against those that prefer the PS3 (as a team). Obviously you and hiphop would be the team leaders. Each team could speak on behalf and/or against that console: possibly in sub-segments.
I dunno man. You’re completely content with them keeping you in the dark for half the year? That in conjunction with that very very friendly and non-confrontational interview with AG, as well as your tendency to make any pro PS3 news into good 360 news (e.g. KZ2 looks great but it can be done on 360) all are beginning to make me think you have a bias towards MS. No harm in that because some people wear their bias on their sleeves. I just wanted to believe that you were one of the few unbiased people in the industry. I guess not.
Every week on the Warzone you guys complain about some new thing with Sony while simultaneously ignoring the fact that MS has dropped nothing this year other than an RTS and DLC for GTA4. Any rebuttal?
Tor that has to be one of the dumbest things i ever heard. If Microsoft announces 10 kick ass games June first it still would take at least two more months to release them. I bet no xbox game at E3 will be release in June or July. Its cool to like a system over another but lets be real.
for some reason, even though there has been no news on this .. i have feeling that sony will announce a kingdom hearts title. it was a exclusive and a hit for sony..i dont see them giving up on that title ..
GT5 is a TGS game. I would be very surprised if they show it at E3.
I expect Splinter Cell from Microsoft and footage from Alan Wake.
Sony will emphasize on the games we already know an show some teasers for late 2010 releases. They have inFamous, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, MAG for 09 and GOW 3 for an early 2010 release I dont think they have more for 09, and in my opinion it would be stupid to put another big game in this crazy holiday season.
Wishful thinking on number #5 especially after the sales of the Cloud Black PS3 and the fact that the PS3 has been outselling the Wii for two and a half months. (Look for my email Torrence). Check out the interview with Sony Corporation Chairman and CEO Sir Howard Stringer here.

I agree i don’t believe they will be releasing a 360 version in the land of the rising sun. Just look at the reaction a demo caused over there…
I’m highly looking forward to what MS will bring, if only because their secrecy has been amazing as of late. Surely, Mattrick and company must have a lot of goodies in store.
I’m still skeptical about your Duke Nukem Forever prediction. 3D Realms hasn’t made a good game in what seem like forever even though they published max payne. Someone already posted this but we’ll need to see how this plays out but Take-Two still owns the publishing rights for Duke Nukem Forever so the talk would have to go through them. I still only think Duke Nukem 3D will be released on XBLA with no relation to Forever.

My predictions:
Halo 3:ODST will show game footage & dominate the show.
Halo 3:ODST will dominate sales for the holiday season.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 will make an appearance.
Forza 3 will hit this fall.
COD:MW2 will be overrated by media & it doesn’t have co-op AGAIN!
GOD of War 3 will be nice, hope the public will buy it.
& a MEGATON will come to the 360 not as big as GTA & FF, but very close.
HOPE:
A developer announces a new Speed Devil’s game, you know, from the Dreamcast.
SEGA Daytona Racing Collection is announced.
EA PS3/360 to have NCAA Football Next with the same teams as the PS2 & Reg. XBOX.
Now Torrence got the Duke Nukem train rolling again, that isn’t happening not at E3.
But at least we know that they weren’t just sitting on their asses over there at 3D realms. Here’s actual released footage of the game that 3d realms released after shutting down.

As PS3 owner. (non 360 owner) Why would i buy a 360 if i don’t know what’s coming out, or have to wait to find out what’s coming out?
Multiplats don’t count. Already have a console with the same games.
What’s the incentive?
If i didn’t own any console. They both have a back-log of games.
It’s just on MS’s side. I would have to wait to find out what new game are coming til June.
On Sony’s side, They release AND announce new games all year round.
Just my 2 cents. Since Tor didn’t or couldn’t see, (or, refused to see a problem).
Since we are talking predictions, here are my 10 predictions:
1 – Microsoft announces a new 3D motion detection camera and some lame family oriented game that uses it.
2 – Microsoft announces 1 vs 100 immediate availability during the show.
3 – Sony announces the new PSP Go! (Still with only 1 analog nub damn it!).
4 – Sony announces price drop, but only to $349.99.
5 – Ubisoft announces release date and shows demo for the next Ghost Recon.
6 – Ubisoft announces release date and shows trailer for the next Rainbow Six.
7 – Microsoft shows playable Halo: ODST demo.
8 – Microsoft announces new 250 gig hard drive kit for $149.99.
9 – Sony announces firmware v2.8 with the ability to record and send brief voice messages. Another baby step forward.
10 – Infinity Ward shows demo gameplay of Modern Warfare 2.
Side-note: Should Sony announce a price drop to $299, Microsoft will announce the Arcade price drop to $149, Pro to $249 and Elite to $349 sometime after the show.

SquareEnix shows off Monster Hunter & Dragon Quest X for the Wii, and also Dragon Quest IX for DSi.
1) Konami announces a new exclusive game for the XBox 360. Could it be a new MGS game or Zone of Enders 3?
2) Sony announces Kingdom Hearts & Syphon Filter games for PS3. GT5 is also shown in some playable form.
3) Microsoft announces new IP’s from Mystwalker, Lionhead Studio & Rare.
4) Microsofts announces more exclusive XBLA games.
5) Nintendo announces new Zelda and Donkey Kong games.
6) Sony announces that price drop won’t happen until Sept/Oct of this year.
7) Microsoft shows of new motion sensor device with 2 games.
9) Sony shows off the same exclusives they’ve been annoucing for the past year. GT5, FF XIII, FF XIII VS, Unchart 2, InFamous, etc.. Sony will new several new exclusives for PSP and PS3.
10) Nintendo shows off Wii Resort with new remote and new games that supports it.
