So the Conficker virus hits today. The first part of the world to get hit is Australia. The US, Asia and Europe are said to be the biggest targets. Geeks all over the world are waiting and watching to see what this thing is going to do to our networks.
Paul Fergusson of Trend Micro had this to say:
We have seen the Conficker or Downadup worm increase the number of DNS resolutions, as expected. At this point, however, the worm has taken no other action.
I actually have to go into work early to deal with this shit. Hopefully nothing happens at all and I can surf happily until normal working hours.

why use this for simple shit? i’d use it to expose governments all cross the world. shit would automatically decrypt and upload their “classified” files to the common man’s pc. causing mass chaos worldwide.
Well no one knows the worm was intended to be used for. We know that it infected about 10 million different PC’s around the world.
