HEY TORRENCE, i wanna hear your opinion on the new larrabee chip being developed by intel, due to be released end of 2009/early 2010. i used to be an amd guy, my last amd cpu was an opty 185 dualcore, however intel has been untouchable ever since conroe.

I don’t know anything about the Larrabee. I only research when I’m building. This is my first build in like 4 years. I used to be an AMD guy too but at these prices and this power, I couldn’t turn my head away from the i7. It just arrived btw! HD DAVIS DAILY on MONDAY!!!

anyways just as a heads up, the larrabee chip is basically intel’s attempt of making nvidia’s and ati’s high gpus obsolete. it’s very similar in architecture to the cell, but a lot more flexible, especially when it comes to GPGPU operations. there’s a game called project offset, that i’ve been following for around 5 years now, it started development with a 3 man team, then intel acquired them, and now their game is to be a show-piece for the larrabee upon release. it was once to be on the 360, but now it’s looking to be pc exclusive.

OMFG! That was hilarious! Torrence dude lay off the booze before the DD! The one with the camera froze and you was still talking was hilarious and there was this one clip where you had your hood one and was playing jedi mind tricks with the computer or something… Your eyes just kept going back and forth freaking funny.
