Spenny,, you disapointed me. I cant believe you didn’t even talk about Total War,, the best rts of all time. Hiphopgamer said that RTS games suck. What you should have said until he played Total War, or even the new Empire Total War demo from steam that he doesn’t have enough knowledge or credibility to say anything about RTS games.
Empire Total War is more then just an RTS. This game is pretty much taking the entire history of human kind and putting it into a video game. The most unbelievable thing about the game is that you fight armies against armies the way they actually fought each other in real life. You govern your people, deal with treason, fight rebels, encourage religion, make roads, and best of all, actually take over real countries. How does rts games suck? Oh wait I know. Its because you people including hiphop only have consoles. You guys aren’t even hardcore gamers. Hiphop doesn’t even play video games. He only plays because hes trying to get rich through the gaming media.
I really wish I could have been on the show last night to shut hiphop down cause his little girl rant really pissed me off. How can you say something sucks when you’ve never played a good representation of what an RTS really is. Its like saying that you’ve played rpgs and never played Dragon Warrior, XenoGears, or FF4. Give me a fucking break. I had to quit listening to the show just to make this comment because my fucking head exploded. Hiphop,, just shut the fuck up,, your not a true gamer, you fucking hype. I would destroy you in any fucking game, especially in real life. Your a goddamn midget and you think you know everything.. Just quit while your ahead.

This whole RTS debate is a matter of opinion. Personally, I love RTS games. Obviously hiphop doesn’t enjoy them, but the fact that he doesn’t enjoy them won’t deter RTS fans from enjoying them. In other words hiphop is wrong, RTS games are not a waste of time. The fans of the genre will buy them.
Ok HipHop never had my respect but even then he continues to amaze me with his “I don’t want to say the name… but I heard” bullcrap. Just say “I think” instead of pretending you got insider information.
On another note, RTS is IMO, the only genre that takes skill. And I have a 1.65 ratio on CoD4 to prove that I’m not just saying that cause I’m good at RTS (Which I in fact, suck at).Not even the Total War genre, but games like Age of Empires really makes you think, and your strategy may change any moment. I don’t know wtf Wii RTS you played, so I’m calling bs once again.
For the sexuality argument, I think its alright to say your sexuality. Its not offensive, the person just wants to put it out their as something their proud of.
And the racist thing HHG said is debatable, I mean I tell people “yeah he’s my black friend” subconsciously. Its something many people are used to, saying the skin color if they’re not of your race. So if I’m talking to my black friend, I’ll say “yeah you should meet my white friend.” If the guy was a racist, he wouldn’t be watching your show, or just keep posting the “n” word on all your videos.
The one smart thing I can say about HipHop is when he said the developers make downloadable content because of used games.
Another solid warzone. I’m not huge a RTS fan but hiphop needs to learn his shit before he tries to bash an entire genre. All he did was smash himself. Lost Planet 2 looks good, but when I first heard about it I was disappointed. I was hoping for Power Stone 2 for PSN and XBLA not Lost Planet 2. After hearing you guys talk about the game I feel differently now. The trailer did look good and 4 player co-op is always welcome.
I’d have to agree with the peeps here. HHG needs to STFU about RTS games being shit. It does take a lot of skill and time to actually get good at even one RTS game. I just can’t belive he taled so much shit about it.

i dont think hiphopgamer was saying RTS’ doesnt require any skill. i think he was just saying that, that sort of game play doesnt intrest him and i agree. to me RTS games are boring. id much rather be the guy doing the shooting rather than me telling someone to shoot.
Great Warzone! You can’t compare an RTS to a FPS because they’re based on two different perspectives! RTS main game elements require Strategy and Multitasking. Both aren’t done on a massive scale in the FPS genre like they’re done in RTS. I USED to like RTS a lot but i just don’t have the time to devote to playing them anymore maybe when i get some good free stretches I’ll reconsider.
I think Halo Wars will sell “respectfully”. By that i mean about or close to 1.3 mil first week.
Killzone 2 is freaking phenomenal! The A.I. and the online is what really kicks the game over the top. It’s a must buy for any FPS fan.
I agree with Torrence on the advertisement of your sexual preference. I think the point that Microsoft is trying to prevent is for their service to be marketed or labeled as anything other then Xbox live. They don’t want people running around offending their user base. Whether they mean to or not, it’s offensive and if it’s in their T&A then i can’t blame them.
Yeah Gabe Newell sucks…. But Valve is far from Lazy. Do you guys know the quality of games they’ve made??? My problem with Valve is the freaking time it takes for them to release their new game, case and point with Half-life 2. Episode 1 came out in 06 and 2 in 07….. VALVE when’s Episode 3!
I don’t think much of midnight releases because i usually have to work the next day and i’m not gonna stay up on line after 12 to get a game i can just pre-order or order online and have the game delivered next day or some time day of release.
Torrence i thought that it was more of the blue-ray drive inside the PS3 then blue-ray as a media? In reference to your “blue-ray spins to slow” comment. From what i remember Sony didn’t want to delay the release of the console any longer for a better drive which is why the drive reads blue-rays slower PS3 (9MB a second).
