I guess I was wise to skip Fallout 3 on PS3 since it’s not getting the support the 360 version is getting. And I don’t know how hard they worked on the game considering it’s supposedly inferior to the 360 version in both stability and visual fidelity.
I think doing the Davis Daily in a variety of locations would be really cool. You could film one while on your way to various meetings, in your basement with the late show setup, or maybe just change the camera location in your room so we can see you from a different angle.
I think the website could use a navigation bar at the top of the page allowing me to filter segments/news by console. And get a reviews section up there as well. Also, and I’m sure you’re not a fan of this, but the only reviews that people really care about are the ones that assign a letter grade or number. Yes that is a very arbitrary process but it’s the only one that works IMO.
BTW, I’ll watch the Killzone 2 bit once I have the game. I’m really trying to avoid spoilers of any kind. Be easy Torrence.
P.S…Killzone 2 not possible on 360. had to say it.
Killzone 2 is awesome. I bought the game yesterday at a local game store. Its a blast. I played it for 3 hours straight. I think the best way to play the game control wise is using Standard 2, x-axis at 70%, and the y-axis 100%.
I think a studio style Davis Daily would be great. Make it happen.
I say do the talk show if you can bring the same kind of energy,information and comedy that you do on the warzone it will be a hit.Oh yeah on killzone2 if you can’t see the Helghast symbol you actually have to adjust your TV’s brightness then the games brightness then the symbol should appear it worked for me and was a nice improvement.

tor, that KZ2 footage was barely watchable, way too laggy. but i guess it kept things pretty spoiler free.lol my copy was despatched yesterday, with regular mail.
you really need to get that new rig of yours up and running. i mean WTF??? i set my rig up in 2 hours flat, with neat wiring and everything.
and i’m disappointed to hear you’re not going to be reviewing KZ2. i really wanted to hear YOUR opinion on it. hopefully you’ll give more impressions on it, especially on the multiplayer, in upcoming davis daily’s and this friday’s warzone.

also, i really hope you’re right about FF13 coming on steam, that would be awesome.
and as for the fallout3 DLC, i also think that it’ll be coming to the ps3 at a later date, but it’s not that big a deal, especially with the rock solid line up sony has this year.
@JMD – I’m writing my impressions after I play multiplayer. You will get my perspective on the game. I’ll tell you one thing, I was flabbergasted. It was like watching an epic movie for the first time. Sony has one hell of a AAA title on their hands. I’m picking up Star Ocean and KZ2 this week.
I haven’t bought all my parts yet for my rig. I’m putting in a huge order today and then one more in a few weeks. Then I build…and destroy!

if KZ2’s online is really as good as it’s said to be(warzone mode in particular), then i might be forced to put down CSS, TF2, etc on the PC, and do a bit of console online multiplayer gaming.
also, do you think SO4 might be coming on steam as well? it’s funny that SE went with steam, by-passing MS’s windows live service.
I’d definitely be into watching the DD at night.
There is a Helghast symbol there. You need to adjust the brightness on your TV if you can’t see it.

It’s confirmed! there IS a helghast symbol there! (I knew from the demo. I use my pc’s monitor and it picks it up well).
Hey Torrence, I noticed that you reeeeally liked the feel of the gameplay, do you think more games will be focusing on weight and “ooomph” the way KZ2 does with it’s aiming, moving, and gunplay? I’m looking at you, Modern Warfare 2). Do you think KZ2 is taking a lot of steam out of up and coming FPS’s of the military-shooter-variety if they don’t implement similar gameplay/gunplay features? Also, if you look at FEAR2 (from what I saw in the demo), you’ll be able to see that they threw a cheap film grain over the visuals— coincidence or not?
Watching u play KZ2 and watching HHG play KZ2 were two completely different experiences lol. Nonstop gamegasms vs. speechless enthrallment. I thinkI know what u mean by “balance” now lol… Good DD, keep doin your thing man.

I have the same TV, you have to do one thing to see the symbol, check the hdmi black level on your TV and your Ps3,If you set your ps3 black level to full then set your TV hdmi black level to normal(not low) ,
You can also change the color setting in your TV; try to change the brightness of your TV

No offense Torrence, but your going to have to work on your skills if you’re planning on playing FPS/TPS online multiplayer whores like me. Tip: check your magazine often before heading into a gun fight… you seem to forgot this very key aspect of survival.
Of course I’ve played the demo about 200 times (ya a little excessive I know, but I can’t help it with this game!), I can complete the demo in just over 6 minutes without using any of the explosive barrels.
I must say though, your reactions had me ROTFLMAO! Great DD keep up the great work!
a longer DD show would be amazing and i love watching it cuz when you talk you seem to have more fun talking to the cam with out having the warzone crew

anyway If you really interested, you could start by writing an article ( a sample)and then send it to Torrence , maybe this could be the site that gives you the chance to put your opinions
