Torrence, why do you continually make something out of nothing with this whole fanboy thing? The Davis Dailies and the Warzone are all focused on what a bunch of nerds in N4G are typing. C’mon man. Sessler condemns fanboys and yet his site makes very slanted comments. Other sites do the same. Dude, just focus on doing your thing and stop with the whole fanboy focus. Lost and Damned was a great move by MS but I think it came out way too long after GTAIV came out. As a GTA4 player, I wish PS3 had some DLC but it doesn’t. So yeah, I’m jealous but I’m not going to plop down 200 bucks plus the cost of GTA4 plus the cost of DLC to get it.

It’s not Teamspeak, it’s configurations on the other end. Everyone could sound like me if they had a better mic, better mic placement and set their record settings correctly.
Lifendz, that fanboy shooting someone was all for laughs man. We aren’t always serious and most of what I say is to make people laugh. I’m really done with fanboys and it’s a waste of time talking about them. There’s so many things we could be talking about that wasting time on fanboys would lower the quality of the show. That’s why we don’t do Fanboy Of The Week anymore. Every week I think the show is getting better. I LOVED how #32 turned out. The 10 question thing was a hoot. The only time people faltered was on the lazy dev question.

Unlike the forums, I like to allow free speech to run free in the comments section. I get called 360 fanboy all the time. I don’t care about that. yeah highly recommend you make people to start using a hot key for speaking when on team speak er something… because that stupid typing I kept hearing from weapon was annoying as hell man… sounded like I was in the middle of an arcade.. I swear it sounded like they were pounding the buttons playing street fighter er something lol……
Anyway…yeah id say just make most of them hotkey their speaking because the background noises are really making it hard to hear other people.

Street Fighter IV is an amazing game. Each character is really deep. I don’t understand why so many people online (PS3) use Ken, Ryu and Akuma. >.>

I know I am not unbeatable (because I keep losing to good Blanka players), but the only way to learn a character’s strengths and weaknesses is through competition.
As far as multiplatform games go I feel like developers decided on a certain standard that can be achieved on both PS3 and 360 whether or not they have the skills to make the game better on one console over another.
I’ll probably get bashed for this, but my desire for Killzone 2 has kind of dwindled. I was really excited for the game because I was itching for a new good quality game. I kind of felt like a lot of the games I recently bought weren’t really satisfying my gaming needs. Once I got Flower, Castlevania Judgment, Onechabara and Street Fighter IV I definitely wasn’t longing for a new game anymore. I love playing Street Fighter so much and I’m having so much fun with it that I just might wait to get KIllzone 2. I know for a fact that I’m getting Resident Evil 5 no matter what because I know the franchise and characters. The GT RE Retrospective is really getting me even more hyped for the game. The RE5 2009 trailer has me so curious about what direction the story is going to take. I’d bet money that the mystery woman is Jill Valentine. I’m not really invested in the Killzone franchise. To me the Killzone 2 commercial doesn’t do enough to entice the casual gamer. I watched it and immediately thought, “That’s it?” I already knew the game was going to look good because I downloaded the 1080p version of the ad from the PS Store, so the graphics were not my main focus. The SF story trailer was epic and all of the RE5 trailers kick ass.
I’m just now listening to the 10 questions. I don’t know if I’ll have anything to say about that. Ciao for now, for now.
I decided today that Im not gonna get Killzone 2 immediately. I got SF4 today for 360. Ive been playing way to many shooters and ill get to this eventually. I waited for Gears 2 I can wait for this.

Hey guys, fun show, as usual. But I am at the Killzone 2 comercial discussion an I have to tell you guys. I have the game, and it is exactly the same as the Demo. Same same thing.
Great fucking game, don’ t get me wrong, but it is the exact same thing. Torrence, you have my psn, I got a few trophies to you can confirm it.
anyways, back to playing wow and listening to you show.
1. Can KZ2 be done on the 360? ~ YES/Any ps3 game with time can be done on the 360 and vice versa. (multiple disc(s) ofcourse)
2. Can/Will GT5 be ‘deep’ as Forza? ~ Yes it CAN. No it won’t. GT5 doesn’t have to. Two different audiences.
3. Most bang for your buck ~ Depends on what you want. Just games .. 360. If you want more then games + games ..$399 ps3. (I have the 60 GB pstriple. No contest) Also. People seem to forget the cost of Live over the course of a couple years, which only include 2 more features PSN doesn’t have. (Since we’re talking bang for the buck)
4. $499 in my pocket ~ ps3, mgs4, and the pseye.
5. Would i be upset if the next R&C went 360 and the next PGR went ps3? ~ No/yes. Don’t care what 3rd parties do …. BUT in the case (example) of Square announcing FF13 ps3 exclusive, then changing their minds. BS! (People bought ps3’s specifically for that game) That shit ain’t right.
6. Define a lazy dev and pick 1 ~ Itagaki (Ninja Gaiden 2) He SHAT on HIS own game and team. (PS3’s Sigma team) A remake he had nothing to do with. Then says he only works with the most powerful hardware.(360) Releases Ninja Gaiden 2, and IMO 2 doesn’t look better or plays as smooth as Sigma. Also, around the board. Ninja Gaiden Black and Sigma scored higher than NG2. So, he made an above average game on “more powerful” hardware, while his “subordinates” (<—his exact word) re-created his game better on competing hardware.
7. Single console owner with the ability to take an exclusive from either 360 or ps3 ~ It’s funny. ATM Ninja Gaiden 2 (inorite?) or Ace Combat 6(ps3) ~ MGS4(360)
8. Take 1 company away from the console race ~ Microsoft. Most of their games are 3rd party games anyway. Most of their BIG “exclusives” are better on PC.
So .. in the end. I could live WITHOUT what’s left … RELIABILITY issues, nickel and diming.
9.dvd, Blu-ray, 100gb hddvd, or sd cards? ~ Depends. Movies OR games, or Movies AND games?

Movies/games – Blu-ray
Are movies studios going to move to another format (SD cards) so soon? Nope. 10 years from now my video store will NOT have the movies i want on sd cards.
10. The winner of this gen? ~ Nintendo (overall) 360/PS3? PS3 With what’s inside the ps3. I think it will last longer than the PS2. So longevity is on Sony’s side. Coupled with the rapid upgrade of people going HD. The PS3 will be the cheaper alternative over the next 10 years.

That Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis collection is great, but most of those games are alreay on the Sega Genesis Collection. Cept the Streets of Rage games.

On the topic of banning, I agree with both Kapado and Bullywithafully01.
There are too many sites/blogs, created by dudes who just want to surround themselves with video game sycophants to pump out articles and podcast, only to promote their one sided views on the industry, and discredit or silence any dissenting opinion.
There is a fine line between prudent moderate and fascist dictator.
On the other hand, there are also a lot of good sites inundated with users that bring nothing but unnecessary discord to the site. Interesting conversation and debate is one of the best parts of the game community and it F@#KING PISSES ME OFF when some dumb ass drags down the quality of the debate.
They should be banned without warning.
Infamous VS Prototype
I’m more interested in Infamous. I have always been a big fan of comic books so the comic approach just appeals to me. Plus I am already so interested in the story I cant wait to play it.
Prototype looks cool too, the moves I’ve seen him do are sick, but to me it seem less story driven and that is the most important part of a game in my opinion.

Most important part of a game is gameplay. As long as the gameplay is fun and solid I could careless if the story blows ass or not. I like games that have a good story, but if the gameplay isn’t there then its not worth playing through to finish the story.
