No Fallout 3 Patch For 360/PC Says Bethesda
There’s been a huge misunderstanding about Fallout 3 and the ability to go back and play unfinished quests after the DLC has been applied to your 360 or PC. Apparently, gaming blog Next Gen News credited MTV Multiplayer with the info, but made it sound like there’s actually a patch coming to the 360 or PC. There is no patch at all, it’s just a part of the DLC functionality. How can you have DLC and not access any of the original game? That would be stupid right? So now that we know there’s no patch, maybe we can test this True Gamer power I’ve been talking about and get one made for the PS3. Read the rest of this entry »
True Gamers Defeat IGN, Nate Ahearn Earns My Respect
I just received an email from Nate Ahearn. He has apologized for not giving The Bitbag credit for the Aaron Greenberg quote. He has now earned my respect. I’d like to thank all the True Gamers for supporting The Bitbag. Do you see what I mean by power? You have it, you used it and something got done. Here is the email exchange between Nate and I:
Hi Torrence,
I’d like to give you my sincerest apologies for copying that quote from
your story on TheBitBag. I assure you that I do not take something like
this lightly and it was an unintentional oversight on my part. The
article on IGN has been fixed with a proper callout to your article.Again, I’m sorry for the screw up.
Sincerely,
Nate Ahearn
Here’s my response:
Thank you so much sir. Even though I can’t stand IGN.com, I have much respect for you for addressing the issue and fixing.
Thanks again!
Torrence
Prototype Will Take 12-30 Hours To Complete
We spoke with Activision’s Steve Fuller at the CES about Prototype from Radical games. They gave tons of details on the new Prototype game including Dolby Digital 7.1 on Xbox 360, game play mechanics and release dates. The game is said to take 12-15 hours to complete if you fly through it but full completion should take 25-30 hours. Enjoy the audio clip from the Q&A!
Candid Anthony Gets Flooded Out Of His Gamer Crib.
Well what a long weekend it has been! Friday my chill spot in my house got flooded out because of a huge backup in my laundry room. 2 Inches of water all over the place, My PS3, Xbox360, and My new Sony Bravia all luckily did not get harmed being above the mess. But my shit is now out of commission for at least a week. I am having to tear out all sorts of carpet and do some wall repair, then paint! So I just got my wireless back up tonight and my computer moved into another spot in my house. My shit is fucked up hard. My TV and consoles will be resting for awhile because I will not be able to set my TV up in my house until that room is done being fixed. So I am sorry for missing this past Warzone, hopefully my house will be straight by then.

First Kotaku And Now IGN Is Capitalizing On My Work

First Kotaku bans me and then uses my story to get traffic. Yeah that was funny, but this is worse. IGN’s Nate Ahearn takes Aaron’s quote word for word and doesn’t give The Bitbag one bit of credit. No link back, no name drop, no nothing! Am I surprised? Nope. I don’t like giving them traffic but here’s the link: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/946/946889p1.html. Copy and paste that shit and bomb his comments section. Also, if you really want to slam him, his email address is nahearn@ign.com. Fuck his inbox up! Run my children, run! Let them feel the power of the TRUE GAMER!!!

The Koalition Breaks Ground With True Gamer Stories

Sometime ago, I was interviewed by AB Frasier AKA Killakap from The Koalition. It was supposed to be a basic interview but it was so deep, I put a gun to his head and told him to make a show out of it or I was going to steal it! A few episodes later and True Gamer Stories is rolling strong. He just recently finished digging deep with Godfree from Gamertag Radio and they also do TGS segments on community members now. Please check out this show as it is the next hot thing in podcasting! Just to give you a little taste, here’s the link to my True Gamer Story. Enjoy!
The Cake is NOT a Lie! How to Make a Wii Cake.
I know this is NOT a game review, but it’s still fun! This is a perfect idea for a gaming party, birthday party or if you just feel like being creative. It is also great way to take your gaming out of the screen and give your friends a good laugh.

The Bitbag Was Mentioned On X-Play Tonight
Wow, I was about to hit the sack when The Socialgamer tweeted that we were mentioned on X-Play. At least someone knows how to give credit where it’s due. Since I didn’t post a Davis Daily, this will do. I’d like to thank all of our fans for lighting fires under my ass and of course, the staff and the publishers that support us. Lastly, thanks to Aaron Greenberg for getting back to me. Enjoy the clip.
Impressions: Loco Roco 2

I’ve had plenty of time to check out the new Loco Roco 2 build for the PSP. The game takes everything that made the first one great and makes it better. Clever level design, funny characters and one of the most infectious soundtracks I’ve ever heard are the recipe for Loco Roco 2. Read the rest of this entry »
Capcom Gets Monumental
I told you it was going to be Capcom’s year. You can add this top secret title to the list of other games they have planned for 2009 release. Monumental has done MMO games based on Football and Hunting. I wonder what they have up their sleeves? Here’s the full release: Read the rest of this entry »
Kotaku Capitalizing Off The Fruits Of My Labor

It really cracks me up when I go through the trouble to get a comment from someone in the industry and a site like Kotaku just takes my work and uses it to get more traffic for their site. Now I realize that anytime you get a hot story or quote, other blogs and sites are going to post it and link back to you. The problem I have with Kotaku using my stories is the fact that they banned me from commenting on their site. Read the rest of this entry »
