wii play sells because of the remote that is bundled with it hiphop… thats the ONLY reason it sells.
you completely took attention off the point that was said which is METROID IS THE SHIT. respond to it. the wii has some kick ass games. the controls in metroid make the fps controls on PS360 seem ARCHAIC AS FUCK. and i expect the conduit to do the same. and zelda wasn’t made to be played on wii? you obviously have never played it. it was a launch title, and that was the game that moved consoles initially.

I think the Wii had sold as much as it has because owning a Wii is a part of pop culture now. NOT owning a Wii is like not owning a refrigerator.
One of my closest friends has been a Nintendo fanboy since the NES days. He still plays NES games and has owned every Nintendo handheld and console except for the Wii. The Wii remote made him give up on Nintendo.
The DS/Gameboy new incarnations sell because they have a large library of games because of backwards compatibility. Kids love Nintendo handhelds.
I have only played 5 games on Wii. lol
Zelda, Metroid, Wii Sports, Guilty Gear (classic controller all the way) and MK.
The one game I really want to play is Tatsunoko vs Capcom, but guess what that game isn’t even coming to the US. FAIL.
I shouldn’t be surprised since Street Fighter Remix doesn’t have any trophies.

Zelda wasn’t made for the Wii. It was made for Gamecube and ported to the Wii with different controls. Aside from the controls everything is mirrored literally. haha
Link is left handed Gamecube, but not on Wii. -.-’

torrence, torrence, torrence, i’m going to hold you to saying that killzone2 looks better than crysis. i play crysis and crysis warhead maxed out, at 1080p with 4xAA 16xAF on my 46″ samsung HDTV and there’s nothing out today that can touch it.
if you’re right about killzone 2, then WOW. i’m already supper hyped for killzone, and now you have me in a state like you said hiphop would be in.lol
i have to try and get on to the next warzone, but here in london, we’re bloody 5 hrs ahead of you guys.:(

5million sales in 2months, especially for a PS3 game, is EXTREMELY unreasonable. And I highly doubt it’ll break 2 million in 2months, since nobody I know talks about that game because they’ve never heard of the prequel. I have no idea where Hiphop got the idea MGS4 sold over 5million, but I didn’t expect anytihng better from him :O.

i think that the next wii will be “wii 3D”, as we know there working on making games 3D for the ps3, i think wii will go 3D cause its another gimic that they can use the motion controls in and even the wii fit mat in 3D games.
