I wouldn't blame the makers of the systems, but the devs who FAIL to utilize the true potential of the systems. I am damn well surprised at Secret Level's failure in this generation, because they did so great back in the PS1/PS2 era. Same goes for Factor 5 and a few others to boot. There have been and always will be fanboys, in and out of the gaming industry. I wouldn’t blame the makers of the systems, but the devs who FAIL to utilize the true potential of the systems.
