This looks pretty cool. It doesn’t seem as bad ass as the Mech in Killzone 2 though. It like the mech in Fear 2 moves as slow as a turtle and the mech in KZ2 moves much more fluid.
f the console versions, it’s all about the pc version, it’s the first fear that was great, the console versions and shitty expansion packs spoilt the franchise. i hope they release a fear combat 2 for free for the pc, so as to have a huge online multiplayer community as before, i still play fear multiplayer on the pc up to this day.
I bet you the Mech in Killzone 2 is better then the mech in Fear 2 for the pc. Im being serious.
game is looking hot. I still wish they would come out with another mechassault game. That was my shit.

absolutely, killzone2 is in a league of it’s own, especially when it comes to animation, visuals and realistic handling due to it’s very advanced physics system. a 1st day must buy for me, and so is fear2(pc version ofcourse).
fear2 has a few innovations up it’s sleeves as well, like the remnants for example, i really hope they pull it off well http://www.gametrailers.com/player/37376.html?type=
if fear2 had the visuals, especially the post-process effects, particle effects, advanced lighting and physics as killzone2, it would have been an even more immersive experience, but at the same time fear2 doesn’t fail to impress with it’s visuals either, i am pretty confident that monolith will deliver with fear2.
@ JMD . Im not saying the game isn’t gonna deliver. Its probably gonna be the best looking game on the 360. I would actually get the 360 version over the pc because it looks really good, and almost everyone is getting it on consoles.
@ Bully. The best Mech game ever made to me is Zone of the Enders. Thats probably one of my favorite game of all time. The multiplayer on it is fuckin good too.
relax DragonWarrior4, i didn’t say that you said the game isn’t gonna deliver.:) also don’t underestimate how many people would be playing it on pc, especially if they release a fear combat 2 for FREE on the pc just like they did with the 1st fear combat, which is essentially the entire multiplayer aspect of the game with all the maps. i don’t see the multiplayer for fear doing that well on the 360 primarily due to the new halo game coming out practically along side it, and the same for ps3 with killzone 2.
fuck killzone 2 and its pretty graphics because until you actually play it and like the gameplay its nothing but visual hype. Ive never bought a game because it looks nice and everypost here talks about killzones graphics being uber uber and how fear 2 graphics dont match it. I say fuck it because for all we know Kz2 might be a dud “doubt it” but it could be not fun.
Halo 3 graphics were nice but didnt compare to gears and Halo’s multiplayer is most popular on xbox..I hate when people talk graphics and not fun factor. I remember back in the day reading gamepro and they had

why is it that graphics have taken over whether a game is worthy or not. People bashed fable 2’s graphics and the game is uber fun. Peaple destroyed too human because the graphics werent what they thought they were and then bashed the game for being “HARD AND DYING TOO MUCH” what has happened to gamers ? Why is everything graphics first
I’ve played the KZ2 beta at one of the parties and I must say that it was fucking awesome. Despite everything being about graphics nowadays, that game will rock the FPS world.
Sup Drakol? Sup Six? All I can say about Killzone 2 is fucking awesome. I played the beta too at my cousin’s house, and its the coolest shit Ive ever seen in a game. I dont know why R.I.Gs’ get so hateful towards KZ2, or the ps3 for that matter? But getting mad about a great game coming out is really immature. Quit bashing a game you’ve never played Six. I have a question. Do you own a ps3? If not you are really missing out on alot of great games already. I would hate to see a true gamer miss out on the games that are already out and games that are coming on the ps3.
