I would like to know what’s so good about Ninja Gaiden fighting system? Hell both God of War and Ninja Gaiden fighting system is similar, listening to this garbage makes my head hurts.
So earl Fly was banned for being racist huh? On PSN you don’t get banned for nothing, so it’s obvious he said something that was offensive. I’ve reported a lot of people and I hope they clean up HOME from people like this.
@chase167 – I had to create a new feed for the Warzone because of yesterday’s bullshit so this means I have to wait for the itunes process again. I have no idea how long it will take for the new feed to get into the itunes system. Sorry guys.
@daddyknowsbest – If you haven’t played Ninja Gaiden 2, you’ll never know about the fighting system. NO, their fighting systems are not similar at all.

@Dragonwarrior4 – Thanks for proving my point. While your list is good, you still put down 4 of the titles that I mentioned. I don’t think people understood what I was saying so let me make it clear. PS1 had the worst good to bad game ratio. PS2 isn’t as bad but it’s still a terrible ratio. That’s why everyone who has a PS2 mentions GOW, MGS, FF and Gran Turismo. DMC was one I forgot to mention and Dragonwarrior is a cult phenomenon in Japan. Do I even need to mention Tony Hawks? I’m just saying that if you walk up to any Playstation 1 or 2 owner, these games will always come up. Grandia and Persona are games I hardly hear people talking about. Good picks, but you had time to think. Ask someone to name 10 AAA titles for PS2. Ask them, don’t do it on the net. I can’t even do it without thinking and if I did, I would pick at least half of your list. I better stop before I don’t make sense.
I don’t think anyone can argue that Zelda, Sonic, Halo, Gears Of War, God Of War, Final Fantasy, Gran Turismo, Forza and Madden all on the same system wouldn’t rock!

I also have to comment on waiting on a bowling lane in Home. If you’re in the real world you have to wait more than 15 minutes for a lane, so how about you go and do something else. I don’t sit there and wait 15 for a lane, there aren’t many people waiting on lanes because I’m there all the time. I don’t have to wait that long for pool tables either. So stop complaining about Home as if everything is perfect.
To comment on Torrence comment about the 80 gig PS3 being good enough, well that’s only if you’re not storing MP3’s on your PS3. I store over 2000 songs on my PS3 so I had to upgrade my 60 gig to a 500 gig HDD. Also, if Sony ever release Play Tv in North America you will need space to save TV shows. I’m not sure why Sony hasn’t said anything about it, I see my friends in Europe using Play Tv all the time.

I listen to the show because at times there’s good information, but when you guys try to team up on HipHop it shows your ignorance. I’m still waiting on you guys to tell me what’s go good about the fighting system for Ninja Gaiden 2. LMAO @ Cricketts churping.
You and hip-hop are slowing becoming my sources for any decent gaming discussion. Everyone else are too biased for me with the exception of one other “professional” site. You both deserve proper credit for keeping journalism in gaming discussion.
I understand if a person wants to support the brand they like, but as professionals, they need to remain neutral, lest they look like people who are paid by those companies… or even worse: people who give away such support for free.
Keep neutral and keep the games in mind like you both have been doing and you’ll go far, guaranteed.
@daddyknowsbest – I know you don’t have a 360 and MAYBE have played NG Sigma, but not even NG Sigma can touch NG2 IMHO. Find a friend with a 360 and rent it. It is the most visceral gameplay I’ve ever enjoyed. As Morpheus said, “No one can be told how awesome NG2 is…you’ll have to see it for yourself.”

@Torrence, I played Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I never finished it because it was too damn hard. You may be right but the review scores for Ninja Gaiden 2 didn’t live up to the hype. I guess review scores isn’t the right thing to go by most of the time because look how they crapped on Socom for PS3. I love the game.
good show… Torrence you should show a comparison of the same movie between HD-DVD and Blu-ray because I don’ t know if thats fact. That’d be cool to see! So let me get this straight, your saying that NG2’s combat system is better because it’s 60 frames per second right?All right that’s good and all but your comparing next gen to last gen.The memorizing of all the different moves and difficulty could make the game lose it’s fun factor too meanwhile god of war is so cinematic whenever you pull off a move you go “OH SHIT”.If you compare NG2 to heavenly sword I have no problem with that because the combat in that seems average but the god of war combat is so epic you go “OH SHIT” throughout the whole game.The weapons in GOW is a lot different and unique it just feels great when your playing it.Anyway good show and keep it.

and although i don’t think its very much better, i gotta say Gaiden has a better fighting system, but God of War 1 and especially 2 are just better games in general…
again… its so close its hard to pick, but Gaiden has that really nice kinda ninja feel, quick and precise, that i loved!!!
then again God of War allows u to mix and match techniques, where Gaiden follows the more traditional “combo” sequence…

killzone 2 and god of war 1 or 2 will probably be an often heard answer, given people know about them… but I’ve heard mostly negative things by u on this podcast about both, almost undermining the games…and I’m like, fuck then what games does this dude love, and is willing to overlook insignificant flaws…

Seems no one has played Crysis Warhead. How can people call Gears 2 to have the best graphics.
There are games like GT5 Prologue and Crysis Warhead, which do look a lot better than Gears.
Maybe you should save your money for a real PC, instead of playing on a defective miniPC called the 360.

To grant Gears 2 with the best visuals award shows once again, what kind of Xbot this so called Torrence Davis is.
How can people call this game to have the best visuals ? It is only using the updated version of the U3 Engine and this is nothing special. This engine is notorious for having low res textures with a lot of jaggies.
From a technical point of view Gears 2 has no chance against games like Crysis Warhead or even Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
This Bitbag award show is a complete charade.
The warzone is something I look forward to every week. It sucks that I have to wait until 2009 for the next episode. This week I decided to listen to the mp3 while playing Super Stardust. I think this is how I will enjoy the show from now on.

nintendo stopped being hardcore? i play my wii almost every day. thats pretty hardcore if you ask me. whatever, im glad the wii is just kicking everyone’s ass right now.
wait wait, if its not guitar hero its not selling? i wasnt aware that guitar hero was the only game that sold on wii. wii has more million sellers than the ps3, and its catching up to 360 very quickly.

Don’t think Nintendo is on the same level of gaming, my opinion on Wii, it’s a nice “thing” to be near the TV, got a blue light and all, but for me doesn’t come near the PS3 or X-Box 360 for the hardcore gamers or casual gamers. It’s a family console. Last year I did get one on Christmas, and played Zelda for 3 weeks, the game is really nice, big and all, but my son was asking all the time to play Car Toys on PS3… Did sold the console (did get the 2nd PS3), after all It cant read DVD’s? Why is that?
IMO, the Wii is a great gaming system to those that either hold Nintendo dear to their hearts or who are looking for another route for gaming. I’d call it “Experimental Gaming Fun” for the Wii, due to the many peripherals it has for the games. Also, I do agree that we need someone on the War Zone to “represent” Nintendo, and I have the perfect person in mind but I doubt he’d get on.
The PS3 and 360 aren’t “hardcore” systems, they are just entertainment systems that happen to have players that are “hardcore”
ninja gadien 2 is good but it’s nowhere near as good as god of war 1 or 2 because it can be described in one word frustrating, it is the lowest rated ninja gadien this gen for a reason.
