I agree with almost all your picks, but how are you gonna pick Geow2 for best multiplayer. With all of its flaws, glitches, and limited person online it is NOT best multiplayer. Please reconsider that one category. The rest of your picks I’m fine with.

i agree with Corepred4 GOW2 is fun online but that’s only if you can get a game without lag and with everyone actually staying in the game till then end.

In response to Corepred4, when Geow2 runs smooth its great, plus the fact that it has bots and all, glitches every game has them especially in multiplayer, as far as limited person online, not every game needs to have 60 something people for it to be fun.

IMO MGS4 should have been awarded best story I got all teary eye in the end Snake has been through hell and back . Tell me who wasn’t feeling that shit when he had to go through the microwaves taping the X button like a madman that right there was insane hands down and not to mention the final showdown.

I have no clue who would pick Gears 2 as best multiplayer… I personally found the multiplayer to be only a chainsaw fest. Also, I agree with you violent, MGS4 was the only game i’ve truly felt this gen.

Gears 2 is the best multiplayer,since when do numbers matter? 5 vs 5 is what’s needed for that type of game. Meanwhile Resistance is too generic and boring and similar to cod 4 to win. l4d is a runner up to gears 2 though.

Well spartan, I have more fun with Left 4 Dead than Gears. I’m not saying Gears 2 has bad multiplayer, it just gets annoying that the only stuff people use are the Lancers. I actually do enjoy the gears multi, but I have to be int he mood to play it.

You chose Gears 2 for multiplayer, but Gears 2 is not the best multiplayer out: fact.
I found it extremely akward to pull off kills (I admit I suck at the online portion of Gears 2) and it’s much slower than COD:WaW and it’s too hard for noobs(like myself),
And I disagree with Gears 2, I finished it TONIGHT so the story is still alot fresher in my head than MGS4.

Naomi telling Snake she has SPOILER in Act 4, I was like WTF!… Felt sad,
Then Raiden sticking the SPOILER in his SPOILER to stop the SPOILER was epic shit right there and I personally believe the story was better, not better told sometimes, but better.

How can that be a fact vad? It’s all opinions. And to slave,yea l4d is awesome as well. Haven’t been on gears 2 online in a while since i have to finish lots of games but is the lancer really the most used weapon now? I am glad that the shotty was nerfed,i think they used a variety of weapons now like the hammer burst.

Seems no one has played Crysis Warhead. How can people call Gears 2 to have the best graphics.
There are games like GT5 Prologue and Crysis Warhead, which do look a lot better than Gears.
Maybe you should save your money for a real PC, instead of playing on a defective miniPC called the 360.

First off, I apolagise for saying “Fact” , It was a complete accident… Sorry Spartan etc.
In my opinion, COD:WaW is better multiplayer, perhaps because it’s so like COD4 , they’re problems here and there but easily worked through.
And SAMOK is 100% right, to say that Gears 2 is the best graphics is a bit off (in my opinion)
Go to Gamespot.com and check out their PC comparisons of games, yea PCs are akward but they DO, quite frequently, give better graphics over it’s console iterations.
Gears 2 looks fantastic… but the PC owns graphics and probably will until PCs are dead(which may be coming eventually).
I still stick by my opinion that MGS4 STORY > GEARS 2 STORY.

To grant Gears 2 with the best visuals award shows once again, what kind of Xbot this so called Torrence Davis is.
How can people call this game to have the best visuals ? It is only using the updated version of the U3 Engine and this is nothing special. This engine is notorious for having low res textures with a lot of jaggies.
From a technical point of view Gears 2 has no chance against games like Crysis Warhead or even Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
This Bitbag award show is a complete charade.

Fatboy! you serious… GeOW2 better multiplayer thank COD4! get outta here with that shit… thats just stupid!! I just recently read on N4g a list of major problems on GeOW2. From shotguns shooting straight down, fake walls (being able to stick and melee people through walls) horrendous problems that were fixed in the first GeOW and somehow reappeared in the second one. How the hell does that happen??
