The difference between classic and hd remix is, that they changed some special moves a little bit, thats it.
on the other hand you can set in the options to use old sprites for the fighters and old music but not old backgrounds.
True, but it still felt like an unfinished project, IMO.

This “remix” is so bad, it doesn’t get a fucking score. I can’t believe Capcom let this one loose.

If you’re going to review a game do it right or at least do your homework. The diffrence between clasic and remix is that they made some changes like archy said to some special moves but not only that they change things like how strong some charaters hit or hove or took away dizy effect on moves or combinations an the such to make the game more balance. In terms of the character animation, if they were to make ir like 3rd strike they would have had to change the framework of the game as well as the hit boxes and the framing or timing and so on wich is basicly making anither game or at least too much work so thats why its a rimix and not a remake.
My fucking homework told me that this game was a piece of shit, and it was. My biggest gripe about this game is the flow of animation and art style. Keep it consistent, damn it! >=P
I’m going to have to agree with MORPHEUZ_PR on this one. Changing the flow would have altered a lot of things, especially hit boxes and move animation which most skilled players rely on while making combos and counters. When the game was early in development, this was stated by the dev team and understood by majority of the fan base that the base animation style would not be changed. This game looks great, is fun to play, and in Remix mode eliminates majority of the gripes that plagued its predecessor. Sure, it’s fan service, but far from being a piece of shit. Deserves at least a B- in my opinion.

I actually love this game. Especially the online, if the host has a good connection, anyway. Like Morpheuz said, its a remix not a remake. It feels almost identical to the old game just better graphics. Why mess with a classic? I bet you would want a Pac-man remix with lasers on Pac’s head so you can blasts the ghosts, huh, haha. JK man
Laser? Screw that! Give’m a 9 incher and change the ghosts to porno actresses! Now that’s gamer fap material >=D
Who let this guy review this game? Seriously. Obviously he knows nothing about SSF2 Turbo and even less about this remix. Next time get a hardcore SF player to review a classic such as this.
