On this episode we discuss what Blu-Ray really is, a storage medium. We talk about how many feel that graphics are better because of Blu-Ray when in fact graphics are better because of the hardware, not the medium that the data is stored on. Also on this episode:
- Hiphopgamer argues back and forth with a listener who says, “Home is a virtual doll house”
- Weapon X has some details on the PS4 possibly being released in 2010
- Torrence strikes back at some readers who accuse him of being a fanboy because of his response to the Kikizo interview with Square-Enix
- Digi Guys pull the plug on Hiphopgamer
- Torrence asks for more spawns and lights out on the Helgan red eye in Killzone 2

torrence i havent heard this week warzone(goonna listen to it on sunday), but im gonna make a comment about what you said about “Blu-Ray doesn’t make games look better or even allow them to look better. ”
theres a game thats comming out for both 360 and Ps3, and one of the devs said, that b cuz of blue ray and only cuz of blue ray the ps3 version will look better than the 360 version.
>John Carmack did acknowledge that the PS3 version will look slightly better due to more storage space for high-resolution textures, thanks to Blu-ray Disc’s 50GB capacity. “All of the key scenes, the things anyone is going to take a screenshot of are going to look exactly the same on both platforms. They’ll get the high quality compression,” said Carmack. “But if you go into some areas in the wasteland, like behind a fence where nobody will typically go and explore, this is where the 360 version may look a little blurry compared to the PS3.”<
so what are your thoughts on that?
He also said if they added a 3rd disc to the 360 version it would be identical to the PS3 version. Blu-Ray not needed. Carmack too cheap to add the 3rd disc.
lol blu ray is the future torrence the future lol
u see? so the blue ray disc space does help on the graphic side right?
now i do have a question, i want to buy a ps3, but im hearong lots of gamers saying that the newer models of ps3 are being made with cheaper hardware to make the console a bit cheaper, so cuz of this the blue ray lens on the ps3 scrathes the discs, and the console damages really easy (like the 3 red lights prob with the 360 b4) is there any truth to this?
cuz i dont want to buy a gimped console >.>
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HIPHOPGAMER!!!!
Thanks for the PSN add I appreciate it.
Game Play/Control>Graphics
Graphics are just eye candy, Game Play and Controls are what make a great game. Look at Sonic The Hedgehog, Pitfall, Mike Tyson’s Punch Out, Contra and Super Mario Brothers.
About that install thing on the PlayStation 3 they don’t need to install data because the extra space not used on the game is copied multiple times so it is basically redundant data. So for example they would put the same level on the disc twice. The reason they do this is because the Blu-Ray Drive is too slow and this way the disc doesn’t have to go that far to find the data. So the thing is does the extra 50 GB really matter if they are putting the data on twice. I dunno all I know is the Processor/Ram/Graphics Card make a game beautiful.
P.S Love the show keep up the great work.
ps3 hardware is better than any other console out there
can you edit past comments? so i can avoid making multiple post? xD
i think Hip Hop gamer got confused about the 512ram,
i heard that since the ps3 has 512ram divided, they can’t pull of Gears of War >texture< quality.
who is the guy who keep complaining about ps3 games not being finish lol thats all this guy gets on to do is bash the ps3 last show was R2 its funny dude stop buying the games for it
The Good Guys/ Humans are the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) Torrence
what cant do gears of war quality look at metal gear solid dude lol look at killzone where u getting at
Hey Torrence
How about inviting a couple industry people into a podcast who actually have the true facts regarding compression vs quality, the potential and/or convenience/unnecessary sides of Blu-Ray and HDDVD/DVD when utilized for gaming purposes?
I can’t say that Kikizo interview would have went well if he asked “In all honesty, is Blu-ray going to ease a lot of your problems while developing the ps3 version? would you rather work on an HDDVD or standard DVD instead and why?” I don’t think they would give way to either side because (A.) They are now so close to MS that it may tarnish the relationship they need to penetrate to Western markets they so desperately need in to, and, (B.) If they said HDDVD is superior for the project, they would have to explain why they developed it on the PS3 in the first place. Simply put it’d kick up a shit-storm if the Square-Enix heads went on record telling the absolute truth about both sides. They want more money (understandable, they ARE a company), so they’ll be buddy-buddy with everyone all the same. They’d never slam the 360’s chosen format because they want maxmized sales. So yeah, I don’t think much could’ve come from that interview that would help fanboys “Shut the Fuck Up”.
Back to that thing I was talking about before:
How does “True Facts for True Gamers” sound?
It’d be absolutely crazy– C’MON!! DO IT!!!
Man you’d get SO many hits on here with a post like that..
Think of all the fanboys on either side that would be slapped upside the face so hard by something like that (PS3 and 360 ones alike). How could they argue against that shit? They couldn’t!
It’d make for one hell of a Warzone episode for sure!
I just wouldn’t get someone like Ted Price or Cliffy B y’know? Heheh, they’re on a very specialized payroll I’m sure…
Anyways, good show guys! Yet, I still don’t think the fanboys are properly shut up yet tho. One day at a time huh?
i want to be on the show:(
lol the same dude lol its more teamwork on 360 what dude u stupid lol true people on psn need a headset forreal its been out for 2 years lol but that really dont matter thats what u pefer lol
Kinda sounded like I disrespected that “Fat” or “Phat” dude that was talking. That wasn’t really the case, I meant to try and get a couple of them talking on the show about it with yas.
blu ray will eventually make games look better but this generation im not to sure, and everybody talkin about killzone 2 i got a question for yall i own both system and killzone 2 looks amazing but it takes ps3 development teams 3 years to make is it worth it i mean half of this generation is gone and for everybody who didn’t know the most powerful system lost last gen ie the xbox so what makes people think this go around will be any different last gen ps2 was the weaker system and had all the games and xbox was more powerful system and had very little good games
Yo, God Bless And Peace to my man Hip Hop & Torrence but I gotta smash Torrence!
Torrence states Blu-Ray is a convenience and not an advantage-
If I can add more content on 1 disk VS you adding content on 4 different disk, that is an advantage not a convenience-
Torrence states Blu-Ray does not make the graphics better, but Torrence also states that because of compression a title like *Rage* on 360 will have graphic limitations because of ID wanting to put the game on 3 disk!
Thats means BLU-RAY makes the graphics better!! That is an advantage that PS3 has over the competition (No disrespect) not a convenience over the competition!
So yeah Torrence love the podcast love the website love the ***WORLD DOMINATION*** and peace & god bless to you, but your wrong on that subject!
Finally as this console cycle progresses developers will be mkaing better game engines, that will require more disk space! Once again Torrence states, a 40 GIG HDD drive is the same as Blu-Ray, Torrence you are correct on that but, in the case of the competition since there is not a HDD in every SKU, developers will not have the option to install those bigger engines onto the HDD.
So thanks to Blu-Ray the Graphics of future games will be better on PS3 Vs the Competition.
And please don’t call me a fanboy as I spend more time on my 360, i have more game on my 360 but lets face it, facts are facts! I am a fanboy of technology-
EDIT* BECAUSE OF ID NOT WANTING TO PUT THE GAME ON 3 DISK-
true rio you hit that topic perfect lol cant see y torrence dont understand that
whatever torrence…
Its easy to voice your opinion when u don’t have someone who can make a logical counter argument, i suggest u read my comments again
i’ll give up, u win, blueray doesn’t matter
i bet the next xbox that come out they will have a blu ray player lol i bet it will. compression does make some games look worse so torrence what do you think of that yo boy on the podcast even said it.so y doesnt blu ray make better lookin games. it makes for better lookin games because you can just put it on one disk y would a dev put a game like MGS4 on 360 and it will be 4 disc y that is going back to PS1 time you all have to admit the ps3 is the future and it will be here for a while.I think xbox will be comin out wit a new system in 2010 i bet they will. and i think everyone need to watch out for nintendo next generation.
GET YOUR DICK OUT OF BILL GATES MOUTH!
compression
jpg vs bmp
and i read microsoft charges money for additional DVD’s …not sure what kind of fee but If you read the John Carmack stuff there is something there about how Microsoft/Xbox do charge more for the additional DVD’s
i haven’t really seen anything other than Metal Gear solid 4 need the additional space for more DVD’s
WTF is up with this John Shaw character, HOME has tremendous potential and as a Beta Tester I must say that I love playing pool, bowling and meeting new people on there as well, now I believe HHG mentioned this once before imagine TGS was in HOME you could virtually walk up to a booth and play an up and coming title is ridiculous shit if you don’t like the service don’t use it. I don’t think Sony would make it mandatory to use it just like NXE is not mandatory to use and best of all it’s free so STFU and stop down playin’ something you have not experienced for yourself.
I was there live for the shwo and ” Fat ” Always refers to the 360’s cpu as a pentium 4 , isnt the cpu in the 360 a 3 coreibm power pc thats been modified? Thats not a pentium 4. Also for this bluray is the future and it makes games better I dont think this is true. All bluray does is allow more room for more content , multi dvds does the same, its just fanboys who wont understand.
2 years into the ps3’s life and how many people have taken “advantage” of bluray to make games better than its 360 counter part or a 360 game? As for home all i see is a new medium for sony to sell crap,Everything home is has been done and its called second life and anyone who says different is on crack.Second life has the same character models, the same make a house and furnish it, and extra activities like bowling, casinos, and watching movies within the game.So home is nothing more than a ripoff of secondlife and the only thing that has been made better is the graphics. Also if sony is pouring all thing time and money into making “home life” you can bet it will be the “dashboard” for the ps3 sooner or later.
Bluray isnt the future its just the now , its come down in price” $200″ and its not selling that well.IPeople who have blurays are buying discs because they wantto take advantage of the player but new adopters aren’t rushing to get them liek they did with dvd.Alsoto many companies are making new media formats to beat bluray that bluray will have a very short lifespan and it would have died if MS would of put the hddvd in the 360.Hddvd was a much better format for movies than bluray, menus and interactive features were awesome on hddvd’s.
1 more thing every site states that the difference between the 512 in the 360 and the 512 in the ps3 is that in the ps3 256 is for the system and 256 is for the gpu which means the gpu can only use up to the 256 megs of ram where in the 360 the 512 is shared between the gpu and cpu and if the system is only using 50 megs or so then what ever is left over the gpu can use and vis vera. This is what ive read and heard from many sources. I forgot to add that to the beginning of my post
HEY Torrence
THAT TEAM WORK SHIT THAT FOOL WAS TALKING ABOUT
IS FULL SHIT HES A 360FANBOY FOR SURE
ARE YOU FUCKING FOR REAL
PEOPLE DONT HELP EACH OTHERON THE PS3 PLEASE
THIS IS SOME FANBOY SHIT 4REAL
LMAO o man John is the fuckin man lol
dat dude waz hilarious lol
u guys got it he ripped you dudes nice lol
but he was wrong but funny
I think all this arguing about home being a Second Life ripoff is retarded. Anyone can say that it’s alllll been done before when it comes to Home, but if you care to take a look at what microsoft started doing with the original xbox, and now much more with the 360, you can plainly see that they took what was being done before (online gaming) form PC’s and brought it to consoles. That’s ALL that’s been done there. Microsoft wanted the closest thing t o online PC gaming as they could get (which *cough cough* has been done before which I’ll explain in a second). So why do ppl praise that and not hate the shit out of that? There are things like Xfire out there that keep gamers connected while in the same/different games, hell, even out of games. A better example would be Battle.net. That has been running on computers WAY before LIVE and it let you do what Live did in it’s early stages but much better, so, what’s the hate towards home all about again?
“It’s been DONE before!”?
HAS it been on consoles before though?
Is social networking a concept that belongs to Linden Labs because of Second Life? No, not really. Myspace, Facebook, they’re not being bashed because they too are both social networking sites that connect people.
And has ANY of you ignorant haters given Live the due respect it deserves for basically providing the SAME DAMN SHIT you could do on a pc YEARS before Live’s conception? They brought the idea to consoles, that’s it. So what makes home so horrible for providing a 3D social networking experience to console owners? Nooooothing.
“But it’s 3D! Just like second like but with better graphics!”
That’s funny, because Live does alot of the same things Battle.Net was doing, except with better graphics.
-Advertisements
-Profiles including bio, won/loss record depending on the game, location..
-Cross-game and Cross channel chat ( /m, /fm, /w /f add ringing any bells?)
-Friends lists which provide dyou with information telling you what game they were in, what game they were playing and even the channel they were in.
-Most importantly, ONLINE GAMING
I mean come on, let’s be fair here. They took the concept of online gaming and applied it to a console, shit-simple, with basically all the same features any service like Battle.Net could offer (back in Live’s earlier days, and it was free)
Now it’s 2008, Live has grown since then into a mammoth of a service, and it does things PSN/Home does not do. It does things Battle.Net cannot do now, and even until today it has been steadily evolving into its own distinct service, especially with the NXE..
Now here is where I don’t understand where all this immediate, seemingly biased hate towards home is coming from, that Live didn’t/isn’t receiving today for connecting gamers online.
Is this hate from Second-Life Addicts that don’t have a PS3 and are defending a platform (the program itself) in which they pour their leisure time/life into? Is it envy or straight-up fanboy bullshit? Someone answer me that.
And Home–
I HAVE the beta, I’ve done everything in it– I got a full tour of the place, unlocked the items playing the arcade machines, played pool, bowled, I even did that glitch that lets u run up the balcony and stand on air. At the moment, it’s not mind-blowing, but it’s easy to see that there’s immense potential in Home, it has the potential to be an amazing social networking app for the PS3, but as of now, it’s in it’s Beta phase, and I’ll be the first to tell you there’s nothing that’s “OMG AMAZING” about it yet… But Neither was Live when I was gaming online on my PC when Live was first introduced. Especially since they CHARGED for it. It was laughable, didn’t make any sense, and was a bit unnecessary when you compared the pros and cons between free online pc gaming vs limited, subscription-based online console gaming. Home in it’s current unreleased state, seems to be shaping up nicely, it’s not as developed as Live, or Second Life mind you, but it’ll continue to evolve just as Live did. Those services will keep on doing so and they’ll be their own distinct service, separate from other things offered on consoles and the Pc.
So REALLY, what’s all the fucking hate for really? It isn’t even MANDATORY, and it’s free. If you are a PS3 owner, use the XMB and simply ignore Home, it’s that easy.
The services Home and Live are spawned/modeled from all pre-date these console networks. There’s no reason to hate one more than the other, they’ve BOTH been done before in some form or another. The only differentiating factor is you’re doing it all from a little fucking box attached to your television.
Why do people down play PS3 so much most of you were former PS2 gamers like HHG gamer said PS3 has made strides these last 2 years and will continue to move forward and before anyone labels me a fanboy I’ll wash your mouth out with soap LOL. Both system are great. IMO I think that if PS3 would have launch @ a $299 price tag we would even have this discussion althought kudos for MS for lighting a fire under Sony ass when it comes to online gaming competition is good for us as gamer. Viva La Console War.
@violentbydezign
“WTF is up with this John Shaw character, HOME has tremendous potential and as a Beta Tester I must say that I love playing pool, bowling and meeting new people on there as well”,
Yea but how long am i supposed to wait for it to reach its potential? And when it reaches it how much of what they promised it going to be changed or taken out?
“now I believe HHG mentioned this once before imagine TGS was in HOME you could virtually walk up to a booth and play an up and coming title is ridiculous shit if you don’t like the service don’t use it”
If im not mistaken thats what i said it was good for other then that its not anything special.
“best of all it’s free so STFU and stop down playin’ something you have not experienced for yourself.”
Damn dude you don’t listen very well do you? I said when i first got the beta i was excited for it but after being in it, its not what its cracked up to be. So to say i havent experienced it shows you don’t listen very well.
Lets put it like this lets pretend it has all the features its supposed to have in it. Now lets say i want to go party up with friends and launch a game. ok lets wait for home to load, then invite and wait and then got to talk to every one and make sure they have it in their system then launch game. Thats doing too much already, why cant i do that from the dashboard without having to go to a virtual dollhouse? If i want to party up and game launch thats forcing me to use home. Lets say i want to watch a movie with my friends once again im forced to go to home. then you guys make a big deal out of the bowling ally and all that shit well lets see you have to wait to play all the shit now with just over 1 to 2 million users now when they open it up to every one just think how long you have to wait to play a game then. Then don’t get me started on the games why the fuck would i want to play those shitty ass games for real. Flash games have better quality and game play then those. the only one that was even worth it was that echo game. Then you guys make it like they are full games they are not they are parts of games. the only full game is chess, pool and bowling.
hiphopgamer you’re the man dude. i dunno how you hang with these morons though, once i heard someone say ps3 should of come out with a dvd9 option i realized no one knows shit on this podcast.
seriously you actually think a dvd9 ps3 would help sony as a company in anyway? common sense before opinion next time, i thought you all was doing this to educate gamers.
all in all its my fucking opinion about the shit and if you don’t like it oh well. i like what some of the features they promised with home but i don’t want to be in the virtual doll house to fucking use it. then thats if the features they promised come out they way they say it is. You all seen how they did the trophies, and in game music. Even though you only need an hour to go through every thing the home beta has to offer i gave it two days. Its not for me and its just filled with a bunch of weirdos doing the fucking running man. and for fucks sake people its been two years get a fucking mic! if you broke and cant afford a cheap bluetooth, you can get usb mic’s for as low as 10 bucks. its no fucking excuse for the silence on psn anymore. for real
The question is not if BluRay does make games look better or not, the question is does it bother you if you have to change disks or not.
I don’t mind. I didn’t mind when I was playing MGS 1 for that was my only multiple disk game. E.g. MGS 4 you don’t have to change disks but there is an install between the chapters. So thats merely the same for me. I’d rather install all chapters once all together since I’m a big MGS fan and Im going for my sixth run allready.
Besides: the space of a BD didn’t make MGS 4 look better, but the space was definitely required for the game to sound like it does. The uncompressed sound makes this game so big! That would also have been possible on multiple DVDs.
So again the question is: do you mind changing disks while playing a game or not and do publishers prefer to cut down the graphics instead of include an additional disk. If both answers are yes, then BD and the PS 3 with the built in BD-drive definitely has an advantage over the competitor.
God bless and peace to Hip Hop and Torrence!
Marc
1. Blu-Ray does not DIRECTLY make games look better
A. Blu-Ray can hold MUCH more LOSSLESS images than DVD Can
B. More LOSSLESS images allows a game to look better
2. Blu-Ray with more space Allows a game to be bigger.
A. More space means more thing can go inside of a game.
B. More space also means that the bigger game can have more high-Res images.
3. Blu-Ray INDIRECTLY makes games look better, and directly makes games bigger
A. More space means more space for uncompressed images
B. More space means more space for everything else.
Here’s how Blu-Ray is needed:
- Per-Disc production for any game will drive up cost.
- A one-Disc solution (like Blu-Ray) solves that problem.
Yes it’s not needed in terms of graphics, but if you want every game to be limited to two discs because of production costs on the 360, then that will indeed happen. That’s why 360 games tend to run around six hours for most of their shooters, unless there’s a bunch of re-tracking of routes like Far Cry.
It seems nobody here realizes how great blu-ray actually is.It plays a part in better graphics because the games don’t have to be compressed and the games don’t have to be on multiple disks so developers won’t be tempted to cut back on the game in order to fit it on 1 disk and they won’t have to pay royalties just because they want to make a bigger game. You need to move forward so you need to come out with a better format not just stick with the same old format.
Allow me to rephrase a couple of things, so they don’t get misunderstood
- I am comparing one Blu-Ray to one DVD, I’m not factoring One Blu-Ray to the fact that multiple DVD’s can be used.
- I’m not arguing against or for Blu-Ray. You could use a tape recorder for the storage medium, but there is an advantage in terms of having the whole game on one disc, just like Epic Games needed to put UTIII on one disc, in both console versions because of the nature of the game. Whether games in the future will need to be on one disc because of the nature of future games I don’t know.
Oh, yeah Ha!
I’m not saying the hardware doesn’t play a factor; as a matter of fact, it’s really the only real factor, as many a PC fan can confirm, as they upgrade every year. But what I’m saying is if one is limited with one number of discs, the Blu-Ray has an advantage, and giving that more or less three discs equals a Blu-Ray in it’s production costs.
I’m going more so, but not entirely from, the perspective of cost.
Anyways, I’ll e-mail you or hip-hop on how we in the GAP (Well, mostly me) made suggestions on home. The NDA is lifted, so I plan to post it next week or so, but I’ll give you a head’s up on some of the things we’re trying to change.
Great podcast guys.
@John: You are hating HOME too much for no important reason.
It is optional just like XBL avatars, just like the installs on 360.
About the Sony delays nd all that bullshit you are talking about, MS also delayed alot of things and promised us alot of things like the Halo 3 release date, 1Vs100, cross gaming with PCs and alot of stuff but yea you are just hating on Sony.
As for the God Of War 3 graphics, I believe it is in-game, guys just download the video, put it into your PS3 and watch it in a HDTV, there are some parts in the teaser trailer that are obviously no CGI because there low textures for some parts, even Kratos, pause the video when Kratos’s body comes out, you will see how it is obviously in-game graphics.
@pixelsword – one of the few who have made sense. I was about to disagree with you until you came back with the one Blu-Ray to one DVD comment. On a 1 to 1 basis, Blu-Ray can win everytime if the size of the game goes beyond DVD limits. Like you and I both said, you could always throw more discs at the problem. On another note, why did they not increase texture detail for Fallout 3?
On the GTAIV thing…NO FUCKING WAY IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF IT WAS PS3 exclusive! Their plan was to render Liberty City and they did. They didn’t plan on making it any bigger than it was. On GTAV, that’s another beast altogether.
Torrence I agree with you on that! Well said-
ok… Torrence i’m not a 15 year old runny nose kid, i thought it was funny how u were explaining ur point of view in a kid voice.
I’ll tell u right now i appreciate ur opinion, and everything u said was right, but it seems ur point revolves around technicalities..
Please correct this, Regardless whether my comment happened to get mixed in with rabid comments, in no way did i intend my tone to be received like that, everything i said i could have went into detail about just like u guys do every week, it wasn’t meant to be received as an “attack on Torrence” comment… Still love the show… Enjoyed this episode!! thanks for the bad publicity lol
look first of all , when it comes to 6 spu’s working in parallel yes overall system performance is better because of the fact that the textures and the sound is uncompressed on a bluray, a great example is MGS4 that game does not use any cgi cut seen it is transition less when it does so and because all of the textures are uncompressed quality is not an issue. on the other hand an xbox360 has to uncompress the textures.. over all performance is better on the ps3 , one prime example is OBLIVION on the ps3 textures are uncompressed they even had enough space to add the knight’s quest, the game not only loads faster on the ps3 , it also looks sharper.. look it up
Blu-ray does help in any regard it is cheaper for the developer if they are looking to make an expansive game, and because the ps3 works in parallel it is able to rip through the bluray when it reads info not only that it could get ingame assets already installed in the hardrive, and example of this is GTA4 for the ps3 some of the game assets are pre installed on the hd, i do not know if you have noticed but on the PS3 version the tress, leaves etc are all ready there even if u speed up, on the 360 they pop up out of nowhere ! lol but microsoft will make it up to you by giving you exclusive downloadable content so you can buy =]… shit they even added another filter which makes the ps3 look warmer than the 360.
overall THE TRUE HARDCORE GAMER will pick the ps3 for its overall performance and the fact that it has blu-ray….., most of you in here dont know what you are talking about if you look at microsoft they are about money more than sony one is the fact that they rely on precipitareals more than sony and it will end up costing more to consumer ,on the other hand laptop hd’s blue tooth headsets are a better choice on the ps3 i have a 300gb ps3 and the hd’s are cheaper to buy just like the headsets than the 360’s
man i even still cant believe that the power supply for the 360 is not embedded with the system you have to carry a big block around… any one in here knowledgeable knows that the closer the power supply is to the board it improves overall performance.
most of you children in here buy the pr bullshit…
look maybe i went out of context here but its all in the same boat. and trust me in quality yes blu-ray is better because u cant watcha movie with dvd9 in high definition with uncompressed 7.1….. and people rarely look if games have a difference on both platforms because its rare that 3rd party games really take advantage of bluray. and most companies want to release the same product so they just port.. in time it will change though.
omg… ppl mad at square enix ? i read somewhere final fantasy versus 13 is only on ps3? is this true ?
@Torrence Davis
Yes it would have been better if it were a ps3 exclusive, when on one system you are dealing with bigger storage and when you know that all ps3’s are HD included to install in game assets…
you do not make sence when you say it wouldn’t of been better if it where ps3 exclusive*
@ilovegames
square enix is just trying to expand more to a U.S base, – at the end trust me overall the ps3 version will an edge, all these xbox people until now dont care about FF they just dont play that kind of game… people who bought the ps3 do because of the past exclusivity … its more like branding from enix to the xbox audience, and to get them interested in that kind of franchise that the Japanese love, its a win win for both , but at the end enix wont overshadow there loyal fan base that are on the ps3… but who knows they made there decision to go multi pretty early… tables might change in japan just because of that game.. it would be priority one to keep that game exclusive for the ps3 in japan.
@Ramses
what are you smoking son???
Bluray- has a coat of special scratchless plastic over the actual disc… it is really really hard for the bd to scratch only if its intentional..
