News of the newest SFIV character, Sakura, was recently made public by Capcom. Today they have posted some new action packed screenshots of the the schoolgirl doing her thing. Enjoy!

I went to Gamestop today to pickup my copy of ‘Socom: Confrontation’ with the headset bundle and was told at the counter that all GameStop’s did not recieve their shipment of the game.  When I asked him if this was nationwide he said “yes”.  He did say that GameStop will be giving out a coupon to all returning customers on the 15th that will give “10$ OFF the price of ANY PS3 Title”.  For research purposes I called BestBuy and Toys ‘R’ Us and they had their shipments. Waiting a day for a 10$ coupon is fine with me, sounds like this will work in our favor.

Well this makes sense since they have integrated Youtube into the PS3. I love it when Sony sneaks up on us with these announcements. Gives me a reason to check my email when I get home. Here’s the full release from Sony: Read the rest of this entry »

Oh wow! I didn’t see this coming. I guess it will be easier for me to acquire screenshots in-game now. I still don’t like the headset options for the PS3. I like the old fashioned Live headset. The Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows Trailer has hit the web and this is worth watching.  This looks unbelievable, the characters all look spot on. And Holy Shit look at the beast at the end. I actually got a really good blast from the past during my comic book collecting days as a kid.  Enjoy. G4

A new PS3 will appear on the Japanese store shelves on October 30th. It will include an 80gb drive, a Dualshock 3 controller and Gran Turismo Prologue Spec III on Blu-ray. This bundle will come in 3 optional colors; clear black, ceramic white and 3 colors of satin silver. This will be a standard bundle and will retail for about $450 US dollars.

I’ve been tipped that the open Home Beta test will start at the end of this month and last through November. This will be the largests of the home beta tests. It is also said that Home will start with support from 24 different companies including:

Capcom’s Mega Man series may be its longest-running property, and one of its most well-loved by gamers (following, perhaps, the Street Fighter series).  Debuting in the late 1980’s, the original Mega Man games did quite a bit to define the genre “platformer,” adding shooting and other special abilities to simple running and jumping.  One hallmark of the series, especially in later editions, was its challenge level – quite steep.  The game’s sci-fi influenced robot revolt storyline also won some adherents in comparison to more cartoonish adventures like Mario, or Capcom’s own Ghosts series (also renowned for difficulty).
