MY point is that game CONTENT/DATA doesn’t automatically mean a BIGGER/LONGER game -> gameplay-wise.

You know lossless audio takes up TONS of disc space… but that won’t make a game play longer – will it?

As for game LENGTH… I’m not talking about an individual gamer’s playthrough time… but the so-called time the game developers factor into their games. They ALWAYS get asked about their games gameplay length… so where do they get the figures they give to the press? That’s the gameplay length I’m referring to. Like Capcom saying RE5 will have 30 hours of gameplay.

Maybe some gamers will finish the game in 12 hours, while other gamers finish it in 40… but that’s not what I’m talking about.

As for the IGN issue… just because of the so-called importance of IGN… doesn’t change the fact that many many other BIG sites said the same thing about the latest Motorstorm game.

And that’s MY point… and IMO – singling out just one site and reacting like you did made me wonder… why just IGN.

Reviewers mark down many games that in their opinion don’t offer anything dramatically NEW or innovative… I don’t agree with that practice… and Nintendo games like Zelda as an example don’t seem to get the same treatment.

I’m NOT disagreeing with your opinion on the game… rather I was wondering why you singled out IGN – now I know.

About RE5 graphics… remember I only said Killzone 2 or Resistance 2 graphics doesn’t BLOW AWAY RE5s graphics… that’s all… and I don’t think Killzone 2 does.

It’s more about art style rather than console capabilities IMO anyhow.

Torrence asked HHG in another show to show/explain how the PS3 provides bigger games – more content. It appears that someone ignored the points brought up then.

As for the GRAPHICS issue…. what about RE5 graphics compared to Killzone 2?

I still cant reliably play Socom, and its been out almost 6 days.

They hardware is nice but they really need to step it up in the software game even though they keep releasing updates trying to match and better live its not really working cause all their new features are lackluster and don’t really make you want to use it.(esp after you experience xbox interface). they need to stop listening to the people crying, get a game plan and utilize the features they have and stop giving half ass features that have to be updated on an individual basis by each developer who in turn don’t even have the time to update a small feature that would otherwise extend the life and bring more people to their game. they are no way in hell even coming close to live with the shit they been releasing.

Home is something that is not going to appeal to every one, and is basically just a way for Sony to get advertisement money from other companies. i still don’t see what the big mass appeal about home is? ive seen all the vids demostrating the stuff you can do and to be honest the only thing that is appealing is being able to watch a movie with friends, or share music. I don’t want to see a conference in home it will be too laggy to enjoy cause they have so much lag now and its just a betta with just a couple hundred thousand people in it so just think what it will be like with millions. I don’t know home just not appealing to me.
