i was big on the battlefield series for PC….1942, Battlefield 2 and this is just as good if not better than those games
few things i didn’t like about Bad Company was simplistic single player storyline and no lobby system or clan support in multiplayer but it’s probably my favourite PS3 game right now

So it looks like someone else feels the same way about IGN with Motorstorm 2.I was so pissed off with the review.Just from playing the demo of Motorstorm 2 anyone could tell it’s not an 8.3.It’s a AAA title and nobody can prove different and yet they give Pure a 9 out of 10.In pure u get 1 type of vehicle and u can do tricks.That’s it.I think they gave Motorstorm 2 a lower score just because it’s a ps3 game and IGN are fanboys.Turok is another great example of them being biased.They said there were tons of countless things wrong with the ps3 version when there wasn’t anything wrong with it.
Sorry HHP your wrong about sony beating MS. MS is competing only on a home console not a protable 1.Sony and Nintendo are competing for home/portable and MS is competing only on the home console

Great show man, I love it when you call out IGN. I can’t stand those assholes. When I see people saying i’m gonna wait on the IGN review before I get the game it makes me disgusted. Anyone with common sense can see that IGN is full of shit. I don’t have motorstorm, but I’m thinking of getting it soon. I like the new idea also, glad to see you getting info from your fans instead of strangers.

Yo hiphop i was about to pick up fightnight for like 26 bucks but that red 360 controller was whispering in my ear saying buy me buy me. lol yo i have to agree with you and disagree with you on the sony , microsoft thing. yes its true that sony got three things going right now but its also three differnt groups of people working on each set of projects,along side a whole differnt group working on psn, so its not like they are spreading themselves thin they just have different people doing different things. even if they didnt have three things going i still don’t believe it would have changed any thing. those are different people with different specialties not related to ps3. Its sony’s arrogance that has them in the situation they are in. Its their not doing what it takes to point out differences in the system from the others and justifying its price point that is holding them back. They would just rather get free advertisement from fanboys instead of putting money into real advertisement.
They hardware is nice but they really need to step it up in the software game even though they keep releasing updates trying to match and better live its not really working cause all their new features are lackluster and don’t really make you want to use it.(esp after you experience xbox interface). they need to stop listening to the people crying, get a game plan and utilize the features they have and stop giving half ass features that have to be updated on an individual basis by each developer who in turn don’t even have the time to update a small feature that would otherwise extend the life and bring more people to their game. they are no way in hell even coming close to live with the shit they been releasing.
Home is something that is not going to appeal to every one, and is basically just a way for Sony to get advertisement money from other companies. i still don’t see what the big mass appeal about home is? ive seen all the vids demostrating the stuff you can do and to be honest the only thing that is appealing is being able to watch a movie with friends, or share music. I don’t want to see a conference in home it will be too laggy to enjoy cause they have so much lag now and its just a betta with just a couple hundred thousand people in it so just think what it will be like with millions. I don’t know home just not appealing to me.
Home has nothing to do with Better servers, and decreasing lag. If anything it puts more load on sonys network. Its a cool feature to be sure, but too early to call it an answer to anything.
I still cant reliably play Socom, and its been out almost 6 days.
i understand what you are saying Anthony but at the same time it really doesnt matter what it does if you cant enjoy it because of lag and thats what i been seeing from the vids on home is lag.
I love my PS3, I have been enjoying the shit out of it lately. But you cant compare it to Xbox Live Period. Yeah you got to pay for xbox live, but bottom line is Xbox Live works and works well. I never have lag. Im playing the COD5 beta with Zero Lag right now.
i was going to wait to buy that but after playing that beta i got to get it now its sick. yea i had no issues with it.

Torrence asked HHG in another show to show/explain how the PS3 provides bigger games – more content. It appears that someone ignored the points brought up then.
As for the GRAPHICS issue…. what about RE5 graphics compared to Killzone 2?
Does Killzone 2 or Resistance 2s’ really graphics smoke RE5s? Can you honestly say that? Just asking… carry on.
I think you’ve missed my point.
MY point is that game CONTENT/DATA doesn’t automatically mean a BIGGER/LONGER game -> gameplay-wise.
You know lossless audio takes up TONS of disc space… but that won’t make a game play longer – will it?
As for game LENGTH… I’m not talking about an individual gamer’s playthrough time… but the so-called time the game developers factor into their games. They ALWAYS get asked about their games gameplay length… so where do they get the figures they give to the press? That’s the gameplay length I’m referring to. Like Capcom saying RE5 will have 30 hours of gameplay.
Maybe some gamers will finish the game in 12 hours, while other gamers finish it in 40… but that’s not what I’m talking about.

As for the IGN issue… just because of the so-called importance of IGN… doesn’t change the fact that many many other BIG sites said the same thing about the latest Motorstorm game.
And that’s MY point… and IMO – singling out just one site and reacting like you did made me wonder… why just IGN.
Reviewers mark down many games that in their opinion don’t offer anything dramatically NEW or innovative… I don’t agree with that practice… and Nintendo games like Zelda as an example don’t seem to get the same treatment.
I’m NOT disagreeing with your opinion on the game… rather I was wondering why you singled out IGN – now I know.

About RE5 graphics… remember I only said Killzone 2 or Resistance 2 graphics doesn’t BLOW AWAY RE5s graphics… that’s all… and I don’t think Killzone 2 does.
It’s more about art style rather than console capabilities IMO anyhow.
