Yo If you guys are serious about going to Japan I want in seriously no BS I’ll even go ahead and get my plane ticket get at me 4 real son.
Graphics processing is handled by the NVIDIA RSX ‘Reality Synthesizer’, which can output resolutions from 480i/576i SD up to 1080p HD.
Great show but it appears that you guys are having a lot of technical difficulties need to get fixed before it is posted up.
Once again the only thing different about tekken 6 is that more people will get to enjoy it now. I see where you’re coming from torrence, i kinda figured it would hit 360 as well. I share your stance on the consoles too, i don’t wanna see 360 or ps3 go under. Personally i have a lot of history with sony, if they went under console gaming for me would really lose a lot of appeal.
I agree with you guys that right now the Blu-ray doesn’t have much effect on game quality on PS3. Games look pretty much the same on PS3 & 360.
Sure devs don’t need to compress now, however the PS3 is intended to have a 10 year life cycle. Several more years into the cycle devs will be able to compress the data on the BD and fit a multitude more data on it.
Rage fits on 3 DVD9’s vs 1 BD, now if the game was 3 times larger, it could still fit on a BD with compression. It would then be 9 DVD9’s on 360.
We’re 2 years into PS3 life cycle. Sony chose to incorporate the BD drive for several reasons.
1) To getr their new favorite format, BD into peoples homes.
2) To allow a method for HD video playback on the PS3. (not saying you can’t watch HD content on 360, there will be downloadable HD content, however DD is a whole other can of worms. No physical copy, takes up space, takes plenty of time, isn’t portable.
3) Longevity of the console. Yes the space isn’t really needed now, however It’s quite likely it WILL be needed.
It may not have been a wise choice as we look at it now with the PS3 having the highest price point on the market. However time will tell how good a strategy it was. Bringing a new format isn’t an easy thing to do, but PS1 did it and PS2 did it (and sales of PS3 are pretty much in line with that of the originally highly priced PS2 in respect).
The main thing about Sony Fanboys is that when they lose all words everytime they lose an exclusive. LoL
When bioshock, condemed2 and saints2, was announced to go to PS3 xbox fans didn’t care. Hiphop Gamer swears all SONY fans feel the same way he do..LMFAO….! I know real life hardcore thug fanboys but the Hipgamer is da real King of Sony Fanboys….lmao
The sound was crazy in the poscast…lmao
Wow, I ain’t sayin no names, somebody was hatin’ on 360 Glory Parade….!

Those games don’t have much impact on console sales. Tekken and FF are established series that are known to sell.
Sony is getting (for the most part) sub-par, year old ports.
360 fans are getting the once exclusive PS games not only at they same time, PS fans are also being forced to wait for the development to be completed on the 360 ports.
Tekken 6 is pretty much done, yet now PS3 owners have to wait another year. It’s likely the same case for FFXIII.
Timed exclusives is now a very important issue. And MS is going for them with claws out. They are shelling out money to make sure gamers can get the multiplat games first only on 360. Sony isn’t worried about paying for timed exclusives…though they should be.
If Sony doesn’t either step up and start dropping some cash for their own timed exclusives OR start actually MARKETING their many fully exclusive titles they are setting themselves up for some serious troube.
The reason why a multi-platform title is made the developer cannot make one version better than the other for the simple fact that if one sells more than the other the company is only losing it’s own sales. So why would I make a game for PS3 better than a 360 version I don’t want to cut throat my own pocket. lol
So I would make the game with at least equal quality and then just let the consumer decide there own mind…LoL
So if a game can/could be better on one console..the devs should hold back on making the best game possible?
Aren’t games suppose to evolve? If devs only do what they feel will suffice in stead of the best they can do there won’t be much evolving.
Multiplats are NOT going to help change the industry IMO, it’ll be the exclusives on each console that try to outdo the competition. MS wan’t Gears 2 to be the best game on any console, the devs are gonna do EVERYTHING they can to make it the best they can, and porting it is an absolute non-issue so they don’t need to worry about anything. The same for KZ2 on PS3. They can push the hardware to the max because they don’t have to worry about porting it.
