With the increased popularity of online gaming, there have been many predictions the one day online gaming will exceed offline console and pc gaming in terms of quality and popularity. No longer is online gaming confined to blackjack or poker. Most of the world's best games can be played online!

Sony sucks at advertising ….They have free online, Life with Playstation, Home, Blu-Ray, Web Browser, Wireless built in …all these unique features for a console and people who don’t have a current gen console probably aren’t aware of it

I think all those PS2 owners who were waiting for PS3 to drop in price might have gone with a 360 now just because it’s at $199.99 and it’s advertised like crazy in our weekly flyers and some TV ads

longterm this might mean more developers just developing for 360 solely or longevity of ps3 lessened…

i don’t care if Sony is in 3rd place as long as good games are continued to be made for it …

i’ve had bad luck with consoles, i’ve owned ps3 for 3 months now and previous consoles i owned were Sega Saturn, Turbo Graphx 16 and Sega Game Gear all which met their demise a bit earlier than expected

maybe i’m bad luck, sorry Sony

yup torrence you’re right about the 2k football being better than madden.
i rented madden and i cant even enjoy the reply. they run like that got shit in their pants. since theres no 2k football this year im just gonna have to wait for backbreaker. that looks like it could over throw 2k. but madden 09 is good, but still not better than 2k8 and it dosent even come close to 2k5. psn: stix1991

yo wassup people, Potholes in my Lawn, I do believe the rappers are DeLaSoul…!

I don’t care about HOME as much as some people. I will pop in from time to time but nothing that will be making me want to jump in. I will be more into the New XBOX Experience..It will be quick in an out party system for chat with upto 8 buddies and share photos, music, and watch movies thru Netflix all while chatting with 8 of your friends…much better than slowwwwmotion HOME..lol

HD-DVD had hard drives and network connections….BluRay is just getting these features now…lmfao

I love watching HD movies so I do buy BR movies. But I do have lots of HD-DVD movies like Transformers with all of the online DLC and also the Matrix Collection. The Dark Knight on HD-DVD….I loved HD-DVD but I must move on and keep buying new BR movies.

Aside from a few bits of top-level information–such as the aforementioned large battlegrounds with a full color spectrum of players as well as an involved ranking mechanic–and an enticing trailer, Sony has been fairly tight-lipped about the online shooter. This week, however, more information, including a possible pricing structure may have surfaced, courtesy of gaming blog The Bitbag.
