I don’t think Blu-Ray has made a huge difference for PS3 games. For some games lime MGS4 it may have, but most of the storage that was used up was for music, voice and movie clips. The game was only 10hrs long, so it didn’t improve the length or overall quality of the game. The fact that this game could easily be done on the PC with best graphics and sounds, just tells you that Blu-Ray isn’t overly critical for a game. Games like Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, etc.. should all have been 25-30hrs games with Blu-Ray. The graphics in these games are awesome, but that’s not because of Blu-Ray. People keep thinking this. Blu-Ray is just a larger storage media. I don’t think developers have really untilized it to it’s full effect yet. In a couple of years, I think we will see much better games on the PS3. How that will compare to what’s on the XBox 360, no one knows. M$ will most likely be readying their next XBox console by then. I’m sure it will have Blu-Ray or something better.

Great show! I am really glad I listened to the show and relate to what you guys are sayin (example:all these videogame sites are saying force unleashed is fair to below average) which is dissapointing to me cause I here all this negativety about the game and I had second thoughts, but after listening to the show I was like I am gonna pick this up regardless. So thanks to warzone I made the right choice and the game is phenomonal! I agree on dmc4 halfway point so i guess i am gonna have to get back in to it just to have some closure and finish it. This has nothing to do with show but do you guys think it is possible for santa monica to release god of war 3 in march 09 like all the other gow games?

cool show, lol at torrence’s rap, he did well considering he dont rap for a living….HHG and Torrence should either battle or collab, lol nah jp…im with you n the devil may cry thing man, i love the game and all but it did get boring half way through, i stopped playing completely.

Blu-rays, well you get more room to put music, textures etc onto a disc

I thought the Dual layer DVD’s were huge to begin with but people might have felt the same with CD-ROM at what, 700mb?

and force unleashed, man what is up with the weak ass lightsaber… it’s a lightsaber NOT a bat… it shouldn’t take 4 hits to kill a stormtroopper with it
