About the LittleBigPlanet Contest, did anyone win that contest?

LittleBigPlanet is my most anticipated games of 08, am just crazy to get my hands on it, i really hope i win if the contest is still live. I would appreciate it if someone in TheBitBag answered my question, thank you all!

I hear ya man, there are a lot of differences from the 90’s. But no math will ever show EA that they can sell more games on one console. They have a lock atm, like you say, and are able to sell their games very well on the 3 major home consoles. They were not the same back then as they are now, but they where the biggest 3rd party publisher giving all out support to this new console.

All I’m saying is that the 3DO was their attempt imho, and I doubt that they will try again simply because of the risk and the money. A console would cost millions upon millions in R&D and when all is said and done, they lose a huge chunk of the market they have access to just to sell their games on 1 console.

In the end this is all speculation, not even rumor and I just don’t think it will happen.

I see what your saying and i know your not a fan of final fantasy but in case you haven’t noticed, square enix has been doing final fantasy remakes on the ds and psp like crazy and those sell like crazy and their just on handheld systems.If you go to n4g or any other gaming website and look up final fantasy 7 remake rumor and look at the comments, 05 percent of the people commenting on there want a remake and are almost begging square for one and all they ask for is improved graphics.Same goes for if you want a streets of rage remake.It deosn’t matter what kind of game it is.A game is a game.

Another great show guys. Personally I would love to see a remake of FFVII for the PS3 and yes it would have crazy replay value, here’s why.

Voice Acting:
FFVII has arguably one of the best stories in video game history. Combining that great story with great voice acting would be a good reason to play a the remake.

More Cinematic Cut-scene:
If you’ve ever played FFVII then you already know its packed with dramatic moments. Now image those moments enhanced by more facial expression, motion capturing and cinematic lighting and camera angles. The cut-scenes would look like Advent Children.

Fresh New Over-world Map Navigation:
Come on, they got to have a new more graphically intense over-world map. They could make it really typographical with elevation and weather patterns

New Combat Interface:
Giving the FFVII remake the combat system from FFXIII would be reason enough for anybody to play it.

More in depth menu interface for leveling and customizing skills, items, armor and weapons.
Maybe some new skills, items, armor and weapons as well as some returning favorites.

Maybe some new side-quests.

Dude just writing this is getting me hyped for a FFVII remake. That game would be crazy. Even though I beat the first FFVII and I already know the story I would totally buy the remake.

EA with their own console. HOLY SHIT i don’t know what i’d do… i’ll tell ya i’m not a fanboy but i do only own a PS3 at the moment, and i’d hate to see microsoft take things over where i like how it is on the ps3, but instead of assigning microsoft’s software and son’ys hardware it was more like an accumulation of the two then that would be INCREDIBLE, but no army of two, bioshock, burnout, tiger woods, rage , i dunno man I’d pretty much need to get both, sorry nintendo… i’d get the PS360 first tho cause although ea as a great many pretty good games, there no where near the first party of both sony and microsoft… gears, halo,god of war,killzone, infamous, fable,resistance,socom,ff13, will make me sleep easy not being able to play madden beta1666.5 and the same alike lol

@Kratos – I love updates to old games but does FFVII have replay value like racing games and action games? I think once you play through a 60hr RPG, you won’t go back and play it again. That’s just me though.
