Does this mean Sega is finally taking a step in the right direction? The first cutscene looks epic.
Do you know japanese?is that why you keep importing games from japan? The graphics look awesome especially compared to the last game you reviewed.really long cutscenes though.kinda like the metal gear solid series.not a big problem though as long as it ends up giving you info or leads somewhere.
I have 1 complaint about the combat though.when u block your character just moves back and there is no recoil.the combat seems to slow and simple and may be simple because u didn’t unlock the moves though. To me the finishing moves looked kinda lame but at least they have it.
The game reminds me of tekken for some reason.
Overall the game doesn’t look that bad though. The game seems to have a pretty good storyline even though I cant speak japanese.just how the cutscenes look.
I know enough Japanese to get myself a beer and a girlfriend ;D
Yeah, the combat is kinda slow at the start of the game, but you learn some killer fucking moves later on. For example, you learn new moves by watching animals perform a certain act. There’s this mouse I had to watch and press “O” right before the cat could nab him. By doing that, I learned how to do a swift kill to any enemy coming from behind me >=D
The finishing moves get better as you obtain more weapons. I just got a giant sword, and it’s fun as all hell smashing a guy’s face into the ground with it ti kill’m off.
It would be a VERY wise move for Sega to bring this game over here. It has soooooo much potential to become the next Shenmue, if there were to be a sequel or remake.
that sounds pretty cool that u can learn moves just by watching something else do it.kinda like oblivion how u gain experience by watching certain people fight or doing something.from what ive seen i would probably give the game 6 or 7 wich isnt half bad.if they brought it to america it could probably sell pretty good.not AAA good but not horrilble either.a good move in the right direction to get sega back to where they used to be.first they just have to get enough money from their games and then they can start doing bigger budget games and those wil be heavy hitters.
Video doesn’t work. Well, it doesn’t work for me anyway. It may be my crappy PC at work.
