If you statement is true about Final Fantasy VII, then I hope that at least give us the option to play the game turn-base. Final Fantasy VII got me into RPG’s, and it my favorite RPG to date, and in my top 5 favorite game of all time. Hell it my favorite PS game.
@Torrence Davis
If you are going to play FEAR, prepare to get freak out by that little girl. I don’t easily get scared, but that little girl will freak your out dude. But FEAR is one of the best FPS game of all time.
The reason why a lot of people are disappointed about Final Fantasy 13 is very simple. The developers already stated that they have to think about the limitation of the 360 while developing the game now. So now Final Fantasy XIII will not be as good, or have as much contents was it would have. Also The European, and American Gamers have to wait now because we are not getting Final Fantasy XIII until the 360 version is complete. Don’t you think that fuck up because now we have to wait for the 360 version to be finish. That why I am hoping for the Japanese version to have English subs so I can import it.
I have to agree with you on EA. I am not buying another EA game until the start improving their games. Burnout and Battlefield was develop by them so that why those two games are so good
“The developers already stated that they have to think about the limitation of the 360 while developing the game now. So now Final Fantasy XIII will not be as good, or have as much contents was it would have.”
I would be very interested in knowing where you heard this? Got a link? I find it very VERY hard to believe anyone other than a fanboy has made this comment. So lets see the quote from the developer that made this claim and I will gladly apologize for calling you out.
They will not be limited on content size. Multidiscs are no stranger to the final fantasy franchise. Also the Xbox is going to allow installs to the hard disc.
At E3 many developers disagreed with the notion that 360 would not be able to perform as well as the Playstation graphically. I just think thats a pretty bold statement, id like to see who said it.
@Candid Anthony
“At this point, nothing’s really been decided; that will be a process that takes place in the future, but for the difference between the hardware, we’ll work on trying to find ways to compress the prerendered movies and voice that take up a lot of data in ways that don’t affect the final product. As for the in-game visuals, we’re going to look for ways to ensure that the quality remains the same between the two versions.”

I think that statement speak for itself.
@Candid Anthony
“They will not be limited on content size. Multidiscs are no stranger to the final fantasy franchise. Also the Xbox is going to allow installs to the hard disc”
not all Xbox 360 comes with a Hard Drive.
Even if you dont have a hard disk you can swap discs. What is wrong with standing up and changing a disc? With Metal Gear 4 I had to wait for different parts of the game to install throughout.
The bluray disc drive is not fast enough to load content direct from disc, so if i can stand up and swap a dvd and keep on playing i wouldnt mind, that is in fact faster than waiting for an install, no?
I would like to listen to more of what that developer has to say, your statement is how you decipher his words. I see nothing that says the game is going to look or sound any different.
And if it does, gamers will make their choice on which product to purchase.
@Candid Anthony.
I didn’t mention anything about switching game disk or anything of that nature. I just stated that “NOT ALL XBOX 360 COMES WITH A FUCKING HARD DRIVE”
I don’t know why you mention switching disk.
Guys, guys, GUYS!!! Could we please leave the final fantasy XIII talk alone?! That’s last weeks epic drama, I don’t see why people are still touchy about this situation. Just be glad we all get to play it. Im gonna leave it at that about FFXIII. Candid as cool as u are, u need to quit trying 2 find ways of calling somebody a fanboy lol. Not that I have a problem with it, but at the end of the day we are all gamers, so lets talk about how broke we are going 2 be at the end of the year lol.
Yeah Tor, Fear is kinda creepy with that little girl at almost ever corner you turn. She kinda just shows up unexpectedly. I seen some footage on Project Origin and it looks insane with all that blood. Killzone 2 is a game I’m definitely picking up next year, because after this E3 there has been nothing but positive things said about it. Fable 2 is gonna be the first game I pick up for my 360 when I get it later this year. Resistance 2 is going 2 be amazing with those large scaled battles and I’m looking forward to fighting along with you guys on co-op! Gears of War 2 will be my second purchase on the 360 later this year and I can’t wait to play it(I’m looking at you Candid lol).
In conclusion, its just like what Tor and Hip Hop been saying, “This year is a GREAT year to be a gamer.” These games are gonna suck my pockets dry, lol. But its gonna be worth it and I can’t wait. Great show you guys, and Tor do me a favor. Tell us how DC Universe Online is like since you’re going to Comic Con and it will be playable to the public for the first time. PEACE!
Why mention not all xbox’s have a hard drive if it wasn’t relevant to the conversation?
Also, I will have gears and resistance 2 when they come out. In fact when im done with my current line up of titles im gonna pick up resistance and beat that.
I will be at comic con and check out DC Universe. But i don’t expect this game to be anything special, from what I saw at E3 it looked like a DC rip off of streets of heroes/villans or whatever it was called. Plus its going to be released for the PC too.
Thanks Candid, I appreciate that! Oh yeah, it might not be all that compelling to you. But I have a thing for comic book oriented things. Its because I collect comic books and its always been my dream to play something authentic instead something like City of Heroes/Villains.
Saxy, I was once big into comic books. I grew tired of spiderman as a child because of all the shit with peter parker being dead, then not dead, crazy crazy shit! lol
My favorite comic was doomsday when superman died, i thought that was one of the most well drawn/written comics of all time. Even though the story makes no sense when you think about it, superman cant be killed by punches. How do you kill him without using kryponite?
Anyway, the game might not get my attention, hopefully it gets yours.
@Candid Anthony
You menation, and I quote “They will not be limited on content size. Multidiscs are no stranger to the final fantasy franchise. Also the Xbox is going to allow installs to the hard disc.”
That is what I was refer to with my Hard Drive comment.
Candid, Im still in to Spiderman comics lol. They’ve been interesting lately and its making a move towards Venom again. About Superman, I guess u kill him with Magic since it was stated with the DC vs MK game lol. But yeah let me know about it when u get your hands on it, because I really want to know more about this game.
HipHopGamer did do a good job on the interviews…Nice job everyone at the bit bag for keeping this site alive and keeping a lot of us happy….You guys are great!…and you guys have cool laughs :D…
Great show guys,
I always follow this website because it interesting and entertaining. It seems like you guys are gamers that made a website and talk about their passions. Contrary to other sites who just do it because it is their job and earn money (nothing wrong with that I hope u guys will also make money in the future).
I want to ask HipHopGamer if you got the chance to interview any Sony execs or influential people like you did with Microsoft. I prefer Sony and Ps3 just like you but I am beginning to notice that the people from Microsoft are a bit more open to the public and accessible. I have to give those guys props because they decided to talk to you even after the first interview with Palladino which was not easy for him. If they decide to do another interview with HIPHOPGAMER in the future then I have to say they have some balls and respect to them.
Torrance let me explain to you why PS3 owners are pissed about FFXIII going multiplatform. It has nothing to do with TheHater’s comments above about loss of quality. The game will still own. Heres how the whole scenario went down. SE announced FFXIII for the 360 in NA and EU. SE said that once the PS3 JP version is released, they will begin localizing it for NA and EU and at the same time start development on the 360 version. The keyword there is “start”. Now if you look at the previous FF games (7-12) they released in NA an average of 4-6 months after their JP releases. Also keep in mind that FFXIII has been in development since 2006. Now back to my main point both SE and Microsoft’s Aaron Greenburg (in his interview with HipHop IIRC) confirmed the 360 version would launch day and date with the PS3 version in NA and EU. PS3 owners are pissed off because our version of FFXIII will be finished a few months after its JP release, but we’re going to have to wait 1-2 years for SE to finish the 360 version before we even get to play it. So instead of playing FFXIII late next year, we won’t see it until 2010 at the very earliest. Thats why people are pissed. We’ve been waiting since forever to play FFXIII and now that wait just got a couple years longer.
