  1. Isn’t Fallout 3 multiplatform and whatis DLC?

  2. Fallout 3 is multiplatform but Xbox 360 will be getting exclusive downloadable content (DLC) just as they will for GTAIV.

  3. ff was MS desperate purchase they were talking about. cant wait for sonys side of the story lol.

  4. sony has some explaining to do!!!

  5. I don’t think it was a purchase at all. I think Square has a lot of money to make up. They’ve spent millions on RPG game development. Making it multiplatform means more sales for them. I mean come on, FFXI was the first RPG for the 360. Did you ever think for a minute that FFXIII was exclusive??

What’s the big deal? It’s a great day for all gamers. PS3 owners get Bioshock and it’s exciting! 360 owners get FFXIII and Sony has some explaining to do. I just don’t get that logic. Squarenix is a THIRD PARTY DEVELOPER!!

  6. The pig has left the ground. The world is on fire.

Anyone here think that the success of GTA4 on 360 may have had a role in this decision? Square has seen the rewards that launching a big title on both consoles will have and now they want to reap the rewards themselves? WOW a developer wanting to maximize their profits! What a concept!

This is good for the industry, now we need Sega to step up to the plate and show us what they got.

  7. @ torr- i think sony does have explaining to for letting that game go(it was a big ps3 title), but it is a good day for all gamers, anyways how are you and hiphop doing at E3? i believe MS didnt do what they needed to do to steal the show or this gen, they talk too much shit good luck with tomorrow!!

  8. I cannot wait to arrive at E3 tonight. This is going to be a great show, cant wait to see what sony says at the press conference tomorrow. They got to show up big after what MS did today.

  9. yea but i dont thinks it will be that hard to beat MS. it wasnt all that great and FF13 news did not hurt sony AT ALL. did no damage whats so ever.

  10. Sure it did, if your a Xbox owner and you a FF fan there are lots of people that would buy a PS3 eventually to play that title. Now they don’t have to. If you log on to N4g.com and take a look at all the fanboys crying on there, you can see the impact.

  11. @Candid
LOL, as funny as it is seeing them cry right now, don’t u think you’re rubbing it in their faces a bit much with that last comment?

Anyways, Microsoft displayed an amazing show today. They showed off the new dashboard interface, the new avatar system(Mii60s is what IGN is calling them), and the new XBLA titles that will incorporate them. As impressive as it may seem, I still feel underwhelmed by their conference. I was expecting them to reveal some new exclusive IPs, but they mainly showed titles we already knew about. I have a feeling that Sony might still have a great show. FF fanboys are acting like Sony’s conference is gonna suck and yet we know nothing about what they are going to show. Sony needs to show that all the wait for Home was worth it at this point, because Microsoft did a great job at exposing them as far as online goes. Nintendo might be the biggest shocker of them all. All this excitement on the bitbag and I can’t wait for the other conferences. PEACE

  12. @ candid- its a timed exclusive for ps3 and wont come out on 360 untill 2010, so who evers a FF fan will probably buy a ps3 for FF13 knowing that FF vs 13 is a ps3 exclusive still so they will have to buy a ps3 for the full franchise. and knowing how dedicated FF fans are it will move ps3 hardwear and will not hurt sony now that its a timed exclusive for ps3, and plus, 50% of ff sales are in japan and it doesnt even come out for the 360 there ya know. so it wont hurt sony. it will still move the hardwear and sony has a share in square enix so they will be profiting from it. its a win win situation for sony even though they lost exclusivity.

  13. except for the gears of war 2 demo and FF13 announced for 360 the MS conference was boring as hell, it was just them showing all the stuff they ripped off sony, the avatars are like HOME, the 1vs 100 is just BUZZ online, the new dashboard is because every1 says ps3s xmb is easyier to use and now it has in game xmb, all in all i was dissipointed by MS i was expecting somthing HUGH from them to take sony down a peg cause 2008 is sonys year but all they did was do what they do best! trow money at a developer to put a game on there system, MS make your own games, if sony can do it you can to!, iam not being a fanboy i want to see games for MS thats all, just not games they buy with there billions of dollars
