This is what Gamepro said about Ressistance 2
”The cat is out of the bag — the upcoming August issue of GamePro has a huge exclusive preview of the biggest game of 2008: Resistance 2. And when we say “big,” we’re not kidding. Resistance 2 has two separate campaign modes (we played ‘em both), 60-player online multiplayer (we played it), and one hell of an 8-player cooperative mode (think Diablo meets Team Fortress 2).
There’s also something else. Something we can’t mention yet. A truly…colossal secret. You’ll have to wait for the August issue to get full details, but you’ll know it when you see it. Protip: You may want to sit down while reading this issue.”

Yo, this show was crraaazy!!! I say that because its the first video I’ve seen with Torrence and man he’s a cool dude. Ant was kool too, hiphop u should get guests like that all the time, I thought it was really creative. But on that note I don’t care what anybody says, Mortal Kombat vs DC looks CRAZY!!! I think most of the stuff they added in there more than makes up for it not being an M rated game. I cant wait for E3, and I know all companies are bring big surprises to the show. As for that Halo 4 announcement, I don’t think its gonna a Halo game. My guess is a remake of Marathon in next-gen glory. But thats my take on that.
As for the Hip Hop segment, the hottest MCs to me are Kanye and T.I. I’ve listened to T.O.S., and that album is crazy. 50 and G-Unit made a great album. But Hip Hop I have a question for you? What is your most favorite MC of all time? Im gonna tell you mine and you might be shocked, I’ve gotta go with KRS-One. He has not changed and is still to this very day a PHENOMENAL MC.

I fucking paid out for two copies for Resistance 2. I cannot wait for that game. It was got me back into online gaming.
Once again you amazed me with the show. You, Torrance, and Ant…….!!!! That show was fire man. I was not expecting that. You need to have more guess like that on all the time or you could even pick a gamer to have on the show via ps3 eye. The E3 coverage is going to be off the chain man.
I see that you all had some E3 rumors so in that sprit I have some of my own.
1. Everybody thinks that Nintendo is going to have Kingdom Hearts 3. I don’t think they will have Kingdom Hearts 3 but rather a spin off of the series. I also believe that this is the hard core game that they are talking about.
2. I think that sometime after E3 Sony will drop the price on the PS3 seeing as how price is going to be used as a weapon in this console war.
3. Sony will win the E3 show once again make them the undisputed champion of E3.
4. The Home beta will be launched at E3
5. XBL will in the very near future will be free because of PSN uping the anti as far as great content for a very low price, Free. You can’t compete with free.
6. Hiphop Gamer will have his own show on the PSN with an exclusive Sony contract.

I think it’s kinda funny how Torrence still thinks that MGS4 is going to come out on the 360. MGS4 sold 3 million units on the PS3 in 2 weeks, it’s not like MGS4 flopped on the PS3 and Konami “has” to re-code the game entirely to make the game even run on a 360.
Here is my explaination of why I think MGS4 is never coming out on the Xbox 360 (it’s a pretty good explaination):
Kojima didn’t release MGS3 on the Original Xbox or any other console, but the Original Xbox was a more powerful console than the PS2, so Kojima “could” have made a MGS3 Xbox port if he wanted to and the game would have even looked better if he ported MGS3 to the Xbox, but he kept it PS2 exclusive despite those factors. And now the tides are turned because the PS3 is the most powerful console and Kojima released MGS4 as a Playstation 3 exclusive game title, so why would Kojima release a dubbed down version of MGS4 on the 360? Kojima wouldn’t do a 360 port of MGS4 just for the money because he could have made more money by doing a Xbox MGS3 port, but didn’t and MGS4 has already sold well on the PS3, so it’s not like Kojima “has” to do a port to make the game turn profit because if MGS4 has already sold 3 million copies on the PS3 in 2 weeks, more than likely the game has already turned profit. It just doesn’t make sense to me as why Kojima would do a 360 port of MGS4. In a Gamespot interview with Kojima that was posted on Gamespot’s website in June, Kojima said that some of the stuff in MGS4 “was only possible on the PS3″.
Making a Xbox 360 version of MGS4 isn’t as simple as just making the cutscenes shorter or taking out the PS3 and Apple references because Konami would have to re-hire the voice actors to rework cutscenes properly and basically the game would have to go in partial production again. Personally, I feel that Kojima put the PS3 and Blu-ray references in the game for a reason, and the reason is because he wanted to make sure that once the game was out, people knew for certain AGAIN that MGS4 was made specifically and exclusively for the Playstation 3… I mean, even when you are controlling the Mk.2 with the remote control, Kojima made the shape of the remote controller in Snake’s hand to be a PS3 controller, when you just look at all of the fine details like that, the PS3/Blu-ray references in-game, and things that Kojima has said about MGS4 on the PS3 in interviews and on the extra Blu-ray DVD that came with the Special Edition of the game, MGS4 is staying on the PS3 for good.
I would love to see someone try to counter that argument.

My little cousin is 6 years old, and he play his PSP and Nintendo DS more than what he play his Wii. When he comes to my house, he play my ps3, xbox 360 and ps2 more than what he play his Wii.

Hey good show again. At this point before E3 i’m pretty sure microsoft and sony have a strong show. I really wanna see what nintendo is gonna come out with for the coming year and the holidays. You hear a lot of talk about sony and microsoft taking e3 but what about nintendo? I’m just putting that out there. I know a lot of people don’t take the wii seriously. The main reason i’m curious about nintendo, they have been so quiet about their lineup. As for the firmware update, i actually wanted to try those trophies, to me it was a little bit of a let down. I’m happy with the rest of it though. To thehater, it’s still like 5 million sold. I wonder if nintendo cares whether people are using them. I’m sure that data is valid though, i havn’t played wii in a while i wish it had a stronger game lineup.

Wii may be on top now, but I think you about to see it start to decline. I remember when the Gamecube came out, huge hype. Granted the wii is a huge success, What does Nintendo have left to offer?

There really is nothing left to announce, all the big IPs have been developed and released. Unless they have some new fucking device you wear on your head and the Wii can read your mind I dont see the hype growing any further. Where as the PS3 has nowhere to go but up with all there titles ready to drop, and the Xbox 360 as well.
I think the PS3 and the 360 both will continue to climb and will eclipse and pass the Wii, and the wii will be known as a toy a few years from now.
The sony hardware has so much to offer and grow, this next generation is going to be huge, and even though i see the 360 behind the PS3 hardware wise, dont ever count out Microsoft. They have lots of money and believe it or not they have a plan and they are going nowhere. This company would never admit defeat, they are like the Yankees they will keep throwing money at the problem till they get it right. Even though it doesnt always work, sooner or later it will breakthru. I expect Microsoft to buy a company such as Sega, as much as that would make me cry…
Also I think Microsoft has a slight edge when it comes to the ability to develop and deliver another next gen console before Sony delivers theirs. Think about this, the real reason Microsoft has the lead right now is because they had a huge head start, and I think they will do it again. And as long as they have a fanbase, and they do expect them to pull a new console out in 2 or 3 years, and hopefully solve their fucking hardware problems.
So before you fanboys start bashing, I do think Sony will eventually overtake the 360 and win this gen console war. BUT. Microsoft is a HUGE force to be reccond with, because unlike Sega who got pushed out the market by Sony and Nintendo Microsoft will keep trying until they succeed. So every generation expect to see the race get tighter and tighter, and yes N4G cock suckers this is good for the industry.

I love HHG and wish him the best, but why would his fans want him to be signed by Sony? He would only be availible to provide reviews of PS3 titles and subjects and could he really give an Honest review? Id imagine if Sony was writing him a check every two weeks he’d be a bit discouraged from dropping a truth bomb on a shitty game or sony related issue without fear of losing his job.

1. about the ps3 comparison with call of duty i remember early 360 titles they looked like ps2 games! 360 was compared to ps2 until gears came out the 360 had no great looking titles.. Call of duty devs came out though and said its fake they dont even know who wrote it..
2. Gametrailers are MS whores and get smashed every week by people like yourself..
3. Agree 100% on half life 2 the game runs on a pc with 128mb Gabe Newell needs shooting and he blamed it on EA the moron..

Hell yeah,, good show guys,, Virtual Tor pwns all! haha. Yeah man, the only problem is that Hiphop dont have Virtual Tor on every week. Get him on the show for good and you guys will not only have the best podcast on the web, but the best video show on the web.
Geoff Kneightly has a good show too, but hes always got that Stephen guy on, and he always kills that show for me with his biased approach against Sony, and he always takes stuff from what everyone else says and acts like he just made his own opinion. For example, Ngai Croal says something and then Stephen takes what Croal said and makes it out in his own words to make it seem like he knows what hes talking about. What a douche
Geoff and Croal make for a spectucular show though, and it seems as though Geoff knows that Sony is gonna be the top dog when it comes to the near future of the video games industry just by the little things he always says. Croal is the bomb too, he reminds me of Yoda because everything he says carries much wisdom behind it. Anyways, sorry for making this long, THE END
its funny i was watching 10 to 20 gametrailer reviews and they always give ps3 games a lower rating than their sopposed to with resistance an exception.
Do you know when psn cards are coming out? I think ps3 sales will have a major boost when all the fans from god of war, final fantasy, gran turismo 5 and all the other huge ps2 exclusives com out. I think sony will beat nintendo because sony will have both casual and hardcore games but nintendo will only have a casual addience.Great show by the way.
From what I heard, the cards are already out in beta form in some citys on the west part of the United States. I dont know whats the big deal though, I have my info on the psn and Ive never had to worry bout people charging stuff to my credit card. And plus you can always just take the information out as soon as you use ur card on the psn. As for me, Im still trying to figure out how to take off my credit card info off of my Live account. My 1 1/2 year old daughter accidently charged 6 years of Live on my account.
