Apparently, developing games for the PlayStation 3 is roughly comparable to that one time we pushed a wheelbarrow full of lovely, scantily clad ladies up and down the beach — “exotic and tough.” Speaking to VideoGamer.com, EALA producer Amer Ajami used those words to elaborate on the decision to halt PS3 development of the Hitler-free real-time strategy romp, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3.

“We actually announced a PS3 version early on but that was when we were still doing a lot of technical exploration of the architecture,” explained Ajami. “PS3 is a very powerful system but as you guys know it’s very exotic and tough to develop for and our engine really at the time wasn’t designed for PS3.” Couch commanders need not give up all hope, though, as Ajami notes EA “might go back and do something with the PS3 later on.” Also just like that time we pushed a wheelbarrow full of lovely, scantily clad ladies up and down the beach.  Joystiq

Finally this whole XNA Community thing is manifesting itself on Xbox Live. I’m still waiting for my subscription to come in to check it out. A year and a half after the launch of the PS3, Sony finally delivers the goods on the video store. They offer SD and HD films, rentals and purchases. I was chatting with my friend online and he had a story to tell.  It was not unlike a lot of his past stories with game systems.  Like when he couldn’t beat M.Bison on 8 stars and he stood up and stomped directly on top of the cartridge, while it was in the slot. It broke the casing in half, right along the creases.   That’s just one of many times video game hardware has been destroyed at the hands of my ‘360 Friend’.  Here’s the dialog we had today concerning his latest wave of console destruction which had him getting a new 360 just to replace his controller. Looks like the iPhone Dev Team has Jailbroken and Unlocked the 2.0 iPhone firmware!  Check out this message from modmyifone.com they have full guides posted for iPhone 1st Gen & iPhone 3g. Have fun!

Pwnage Tool 2.0 is officially released by the Dev Team.
The tool jailbreaks and unlocks any 1st gen iPhones running the 2.0 firmware and jailbreaks any 3g iPhone/iPod Touch running the 2.0 firmware. It does NOT support older versions of the iPhone/iPod Touch firmware.
This release doesn’t unlock 3g iPhones yet, but they say they’re working on that.
