Speaking of harsh Australian reviewers and Iron Man, did you see what <a href="http://www.gameplayer.com.au/Home/REVIEWS/REVIEWGAME/tabid/1486/Default.aspx?CID=548ee4a3-6397-4925-aafa-6dfcc9810827" rel="nofollow">Gameplayer </a>gave the game?

Well, I'm glad you liked it and hope some other listeners did. I felt honestly like it was hard to maintain a good flow with just the two of us. Fortunately Lee is much more experienced at such things than I.

GTA4 is a game like Twilight Princess or Super Mario Galaxy. It's destined to get good scores almost regardless of the product. To be fair, most written reviews have good, cogent reasons for their scores. Rockstar is also, unquestionably, staffed with very talented and creative people. Sooner or later one of us will get a crack at it. In the meantime, content yourself that IGN AU went with their typical black-sheep stance and gave it a 9.8... though to be honest that's probably the closest score to a 10 they'll ever give. :-P

Excellent show, guys. Really interesting stuff.
I really wish the hype train didn't give GTA4 100s all around. I don't care how good it is, it's not THAT good... and that totally kills all credibility these reviewers had. Perfect scores should forever remain th unobtainable goal.
