Korn Provides Original Song for Haze Music Video Mash-Up Contest
With the decline of hard copy retail sales of CDs, rock groups are always looking for new ways to get their music out to the public. Many are tapping into social networks like MySpace. Some, like Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails, are distributing through their websites for free. Counting Crows, a group from the early 90s, is making their music video content available for fans to make, edit, and post their own renditions of their newest song. Of relevance to our audience is the news that Korn wrote a song for the game Haze and the publishers are allowing gamers to put their own video together in a chance to win various prizes. The Dark Messiah of the 360
Whispers were heard in that cold and eerie basement, a menacing thought spawned behind my mind. What was a bliss soon turned into a curse. Exploited and betrayed, I couldn’t fathom realization that was before me. “It can’t be…” I thought, “I just bought it three days ago!” Even after the hours of game play and learning to love the game that it could be, the horrorible nightmare crept into reality. My 360 console froze within a couple of hours, I reset the console. It froze again, but within minutes. Reset. That’s all I did for ten minutes. I placed another game inside, but that also froze. The discs were clean, the console was almost new. The game, Dark Messiah Might and Magic, developed a dark aura and it was one that could make kittins cry. Read the rest of this entry »

New Prince of Persia Game to Come Holiday 2008
The folks that brought you the Prince of Persia Sands of Time trilogy and Assassin’s Creed will be bringing the next Prince of Persia to Xbox 360, PlayStation3, PC, and Nintendo DS this holiday season.
