Kotaku And Gizmodo Parading Nude Videos As Gaming/Tech News

I was doing my usual morning surf when I stumbled upon a few clips on kotaku.com.  One was a clip of a man playing Sambo De Amigo in his underwear, the other was a woman, Shay Laren playing Wii completely nude.  Not only that but the clip showed her in her bedroom getting dressed.  It also showed other full frontal nude shots with no Wii in site!

The full frontal closeup Wii portion of the video lasted all of 5 secs and appears a third of the way into the clip.  At first I thought, they can’t show nudity on youtube!  Then I looked and saw that the video originated at danni.com,  a well known adult video site.  I followed the link trail from kotaku.com and it came from their TECH site, gizmodo.com which was linked from fleshbot.com, which is their boobie blog.  The clip on fleshbot.com was linked from attuworld.com from a page at dailymotion.com.  Whew!  You should know that attuworld.com shows not only full frontal nudity, but close ups of all the goodies and is NOT age gated whatsoever.  Dailymotion.com is fully age gated and so is the Wii-girl video on their site.  Danni.com is a membership oriented site for adults only.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m no prude.  Fleshbot and Attuworld are now in my bookmarks.  I can do that, I’m a 37yr old man.  The problem I have with a site like Kotaku posting clips like this is that it does nothing for the gaming public. It also allows their underage readers to view this full frontal nudity without an any age gate or age verification.  I’d even throw them more of a bone if the whole entire clip was of the girl playing Wii in the nude but it’s not.  So how is it video game related?  I feel the same about Gizmodo posting the clip.  Even thought they stated that it was NSFW(not safe for work), without an age gate, anyone of any age can see the clip.  Jack Thompson, the asshole he is, would have a field day with this.  And you know what?  He would be in the right.  Kotaku and Gizmodo, get your act together and start posting gaming and technology news.  Leave the naked flesh to fleshbot.com.

Stumble it!
