Microsoft just announced a HUGE lineup for the Xbox Live Video Marketplace. One of the shockers was the inclusion of the James Bond films in HD. As you know, these MGM films are owned by parent company Sony. It’s quite interesting that they are allowing these titles to appear on Xbox Live Marketplace knowing that video downloads for PSN are around the corner. It seems that multi-platform games between the 2 competing consoles are getting closer and closer to each other in terms of graphics. I’ve posted 2 screens from Devil May Cry 4, so you can make your own judgment. The one on top is the PS3 screen shot while the one under it is from the 360. However, there will still be things that are different between the 2 games.

Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is NAMCO Bandai’s latest entry into the Dragonball fighting series before they release ramped-up versions for the high-end next generation consoles. If you have all three consoles, the question remains, “Which one do I buy?” Do you snatch this one up simply because it would be neat to play with a Wiimote and a nunchuk? Or, do you wait to play it on the big boys with full expectation that graphics and gameplay might get notched up a bit? In the end, it’s more of a question of how much you liked the anime series. I was doing my usual morning surf when I stumbled upon a few clips on kotaku.com.  One was a clip of a man playing Sambo De Amigo in his underwear, the other was a woman, Shay Laren playing Wii completely nude.  Not only that but the clip showed her in her bedroom getting dressed.  It also showed other full frontal nude shots with no Wii in site!  Read the rest of this entry »

The gamers have spoken and been heard. On Friday Cooper Lawrence made statement for the New York times apologizing for not checking out the game before speaking about it. She said that someone told her ‘it’s like pornography’ and she just ran with that instead of actually playing the game.  After the backlash she sat down to watch someone play the game for a few hours and saw the sex scene in all it’s glory.

For making the public apology, she gets my respect. Fox however, is still in the shitter. Do you see what power us gamers have? Now what else can we do with it? Here’s the full news story from the New York Times.:

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune was always considered to be a good game. Ever since it’s first showing, people have said it will be one of the better games for the PS3. However, I don’t think anyone thought it would be as good as it turned out to be. But really, how can you go wrong with treasure hunters?
