I’m not much of an achievement whore but this is definitely a good read for those who are. Read the rest of this entry »

tk6_01_169.jpg

Tekken 6 will be hitting the Playstation 3 in 2008. Tekken has always been a Playstation only series since day one. Even the first Tekken was developed on the PS1 arcade board. Namco followed suit with every game in the series including 6, which is being developed on PS3 arcade hardware. Another series that was Playstation only was the Ace Combat series. Ace Combat 6 is now a 360 exclusive. Does Namco have reason to bring Tekken 6 to the 360? Read on for the facts. Read the rest of this entry »

Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of the Final Fantasy series and Blue Dragon, has a new fantasy coming to Japan this Christmas.  Lost Odyssey is Microsoft’s new ace in the land of the rising sun.  Blue Dragon, Sakaguchi’s last 360 RPG, went on to sell 198,000 copies.  All 10,000 of the Blue Dragon bundles sold out when they went on sale.  So who’s to say there’s no market in Japan for Microsoft’s Xbox 360? Super Puzzle Fighter Friends Leaderboards Not Working

dan_puzzle_vote.jpg

Since the games release, I’ve noticed that my friends scores are not showing up on the Leaderboards online when I choose ‘Friends’.  If you select the game from the XBLA menu, it will scroll through your friends scores just fine.  It won’t work once you get in the game though.  I’ve contacted Capcom about the issue and they stated that the devs are aware of the issue and are working on it.

Xbox 360 Owners and Their Crack Habit

360crack1.jpg

By now the problems with the 360 have been…hashed out. The supposed 65nm chipset is running free in the wild and Microsoft is still shipping out those coffins. You would think with all the bad press about the ‘red ring of death’ that people would stop buying the 360 all together. That is simply not the case. 360 gamers are fiendish when it comes to owning games and not even 3 red rings is going to stop them from finishing their achievements in Super Puzzle Fighter. Review: NBA 2K8

Well it’s been 7 years since 2K1. That means it’s been 7 years that I’ve been BEGGING for Visual Concepts to include dunk and 3pt shooting contests. I’ve been paying some good coin for these games and I mean really, is it too much to ask? They put that 24/7 mode in the game and I hated it. Why put so much effort into 24/7 when you could have All-Star Saturday as an additional game mode? Every time a new NBA 2K game was released, I’d hope and pray to no avail. Well after all these years, my prayers have finally been answered with NBA 2K8. Read the rest of this entry »
