Xbox 360 core pack phase-out?
by Jon SitzmanAccording to Kotaku, there’s the very real possibility that the Core XBox 360 SKU will be phased out.
For sake of developers and owners alike, it would be a truly wonderful thing if this were true. Let’s raise a toast in hope.

I’ve mused on this elsewhere, and it’s been rebutted that Microsoft makes a hefty profit off of the accessory sales from the “Retard Pack”. Acknowledging that end of it, I could see them keeping it around if only for the hardware sales.
Though having what, four or five versions of the same damned thing is absurd; but this is being said about a company with what - at least five versions of their last Operating System?
