One Response to “Midway – death throes of a former Titan?”

  • G.A. Golembiski II says:

Midway of the 80’s and early 90’s was a great company. I’m not so much of a fan of them these days though.

And playing Mortal Kombat 2 over Playstation Network; I am alternately thankful and full of hate.

    Hooray an on-line fighter!

    Nuts, it’s MK2. :P

I’m guilty as anyone. IIRC, I dumped $35 in MK2 the day our local arcade first got the machine.

I’m sure Midway will survive, I only hope they can reinvent themselves Activision style. I recall having a distinct feeling of prideful nostalgia back on the Playstation when Activision made a comeback courtesy of Tony Hawk and Spider-Man. Harkening back to the glory days of Pitfall. :)
