The world of gaming is beginning to evolve. With the increased popularity of online gaming, there have been many predictions the one day online gaming will exceed offline console and pc gaming in terms of quality and popularity. No longer is online gaming confined to blackjack or poker. Most of the world's best games can be played online! Moreover, these days online gaming has become so popular, that the live tournaments such as World Series of Poker are also made online. The main reason for this is that internet poker is considered as most popular game online.

PS3 has no advantages over 360, says Peter Moore

“I really don’t know what I would look at there that we’re really missing. I look at the games and I feel really good at where we stand from a portfolio point of view. The online service…there’s nothing really there that I can really point to that I wish we had. The innovation that the Wii is, I’m certainly a big fan of.”

What is an RPG?

Tis nothing more than a miserable pile of big swords and young heroes! This is what all you fans of have been waiting for that I promised to deliver some time ago. This my friends, are thoughts of wisdom that I have personally gathered together from past experiences of playing the typical “run of the mill” RPGs on several different consoles. Half Life 2: Episode 2 comes in 2 packages?

Normally I’m not a fan of the concept, but this doesn’t seem all that bad. Ign.com reports the game will be shipped in a Black Version and an Orange Version. Black (available for PC only) will contain Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2. However, the Orange (which will be for PC, PS3, AND X-box 360) will not only hold what is already included in the Black Version, but will also contain Episode 1 for those of us who may have missed out.

Don’t worry, you won’t be paying the same amount for each package. Black will have you paying $39.99, while Orange comes in a slightly higher price of $59.99. So get your wallet ready for the late Summer.

Final Fantasy IV and V Advance Review

Lali-ho, there folks! If you had not idea what “Lali-ho” meant, it was a greeting or something back in Final Fantasy IV, which was called Final Fantasy II back in 1991 here in the US. It didn’t recieve much celebration that a normal Final Fantasy title would get nowadays in the US, but it was one of the stepping stones towards greater potential. As for Japan, it was considered to be one of the best Final Fantasy titles ever made due to character-driven plot and musical score by Nobuo Uematsu. If you have no idea who he is, wikipedia him. Also, I will be going over Final Fantasy V Advance! Twice the the fun! Read the rest of this entry »

Final Fantasy III Review

Final Fantasy. Some consider the moniker the epitome of the role playing genre, and hail it above all other things. Others see the franchise a little differently, perceiving the adventure and stories as drawn out, repetitive, or mundane. That might seem slightly irrelevant, considering that Final Fantasy is going into its thirteenth installment. But instead of taking a look into the future of the series, let’s peer into the past at one of the most anticipated games released for the DS in a short while. I give you: Final Fantasy III.
