That's right, you can pick it up for absolutely nothing if you so choose, and that's the beauty of it. Team Teamwork are willing to bring you this ...
Apple Is Evil And Jobs Is Butthurt
Recently at Town Hall at One Infinite Loop, Steve Jobs attacked Google and Adobe. He called 'bullshit' on Google for their Don't Be Evil mantra. I wonder why he's so upset about it? Maybe it's because Apple IS in fact an evil company. With their hip ad campaigns and yuppy marketing you'd never know how evil they are. Case in point, deleting songs off of your hard drive that you paid money for and never telling you. Jobs then took a jab at Adobe stating that they were a lazy company. Lazy? Lazy for ...
Video Game Warzone #75: The Fans Vs Hiphopgamer
On this episode Hiphopgamer got what he asked for. He asked fans to bring it if they had issues with his vidicles and they brought it on Friday night. I think half of the show was spent with fans coming in to rebuttal his claims about PC gaming. It all hit me from left field and I didn't expect it. Shows like this are what make the Warzone what it is. Also on this show: MAG release, pleasantly pleased BFBC2 demo OMFG! Metro 2033 Preview
Metro 2033, developed by 4A Games, wants to take you on a journey 20 years into the future in a world where life as we know it is only a figment of the past. The game takes place in what we would today consider Moscow, but Moscow as we know it, along with the rest of the world, has been destroyed by a nuclear war. Because of this what’s left of mankind has to live underground fighting off human groups, and nuclear mutated monsters from above. The monster enemies above are known as “The Dark Ones”.
4A Games wants you to get sucked into the world they are trying to create with this game. They want you to play this game as if you were actually in a nuclear holocaust fighting everyday to stay alive. The setting of the game really seems to be the standout of the game. Mankind is now living underground in the Moscow metro rail system. You will have these interesting human colonies underground, where each station is almost like it’s own city-state with different laws and lifestyles. Fighting underground is going to be claustrophobic and dark, and fear of the unknown is around every corner.

Review: Bayonetta
I’ve had my eyes on Bayonetta for quite a while, especially after playing the awesome demo. If you are a fan of over-the-top action games, such as Ninja Gaiden and God of War, you’ll feel right at home with Bayonetta. In addition to being on the same level as those two series, this game adds in a rather unique and sexy female as the protagonist, along with a (Western) religious theme to set the mood. Sprinkle in some John Woo style gunplay and that pretty much sums up Bayonetta. Read the rest of this entry »
Alpha Protocol Preview
Sam Fisher and Solid Snake. Both known in the gaming community as the best spies in games. These guys have fought to protect their country and also fought to protect what they believe is right. They work in silence, but know how to take out the enemy when necessary. For years, both of them have dominated the stealth/action game type. Well this Summer, Obsidian and Sega hope to add another man to these ranks and that man is Michael Thorton.
Thorton is the main protagonist in Obsidian’s upcoming espionage-action RPG, Alpha Protocol. In the game, “Thorton is a talented young agent cast out by his government, Thorton is the only one with the information needed to stop an impending international catastrophe. To do so means he must cut himself off from the very people he is sworn to protect.” This game is not your typical spy game, but rather a RPG that allows your choices as a undercover agent to really have an impact throughout. The characters you meet, the missions you take, and the story that unfolds is up to the way you play the game.

Still waiting for God of War 3 to bring all the blood splattering action and mythical adventure to your PS3? Why wait for the main course when you can start off with the appetizer, one called “Dante’s Inferno.”

THIS is a beautiful piece of advertising. I’ve watched it like 12 times already. It’s just perfect. Too bad CBS has a cork up their ass.
Fallout: New Vegas Details (PC Gamer)

If you are a PC Gamer subscriber you are in luck. In this upcoming month’s issue, you will be treated to a six page layout on Fallout: New Vegas. Here are some of the details that have been leaked online by a post on the Bethesda forums and a post on fansite called Duck and Cover. Expect a lot of new news on Fallout: New Vegas in the coming month.
* There is an optional hardcore mode, the character needs to drink water, ammo has weight, healing isn’t instant etc. Normal mode is more similar to Fallout 3 gameplay.
* The storyline is focused on the New California Republic vs. Caesar’s Legion vs. New Vegas residents.
* You are not a vault dweller but are given a Pip-Boy by someone who is one.
* There is a screenshot of a vault suit as well.
* There is an assault rifle looking like the M4, as well as a new big gun with a backpack, held like a minigun.
* There are special moves for melee weapons in VATS – specifically a move for a golf club called “Fore” which seems to be a groin shot.
* The Hoover Dam is in the game and is supplying electricity to the city.
* There is a quest to rescue a ghoul from some super mutants. The ghoul can then become your companion
* The Geckos are back.
* There are both dumb and intelligent super mutants, including the elite Nightkin.
* Some super mutants look similar to the ones in Fallout 3, while others are new. There is e.g. a female super mutant with a 1950s hairstyle who apparently is one of their leaders.
* Screenshots include a guy with a beard and straw hat, a ghoul an NCR Ranger
* The only picture of New Vegas itself is concept art and not a screenshot
* Some location screenshots include a huge model dinosaur advertising a hotel, some satellite dishes, an array of solar panels
* A character generation shot showing a “vigour machine” instead of the skill book
* NCR base is the McCarran Airport, Caesar’s Legion is based in the Vegas Strip, while super mutants are based in a place called Black Mountain. There is also a town called Fremont and another called Primm. A topless reuve is mentioned as being in the latter. Area 51 also appears.
* NCR Ranger armor is similar to a brown combat armor with sleeves, there are concept arts of a Ranger
* Skils have a bigger effect on conversation choices. E.g. someone with a high Explosives skill may be able to have a coversation about explosives where appropriate.
* There is a Reputation system in adition to Karma.
Very interesting. I’m interested to see what Obsidian does with the franchise. Sounds like they have some good ideas. Hopefully it plays as fun as it sounds.

Editorial: Smaller Gaming Sites = No Exclusives
The past couple of weeks I’ve been thinking about gaming journalism, and the way developers interact with large gaming websites and smaller websites. They handle all of them very differently when it comes to releasing information or giving exclusives. The thing that has really got me thinking is the lack of exclusive content to smaller websites, and why publishers don’t give smaller sites major exclusives.
I know that the major excuse nowadays is that publishers want to release major information to the websites with the largest audience. I think that many small gaming websites accept this, and only hope that one day they can be as large as an IGN or Gametrailers. The flaw I see in this is that we are on the internet. You release it to a site like The Bitbag first and within the hour it will be embedded on 20 different sites and be on N4G. Also, just because you release an exclusive trailer on a smaller site, that does not mean you never give the trailer to the major sites. Hell, if you only gave the smaller site a five hour window to have the content exclusively, then that would be more than enough to make their year.

Dark Void DLC Will Be Available For Xbox 360 & PS3 Next Week
It’s becoming a trend for a game to come out and not even 90 days later we get (not always free) downloadable content for it. Dark Void will be no different. Next week both XBL and PSN will have all new DLC for Dark Void. I haven’t tried the game out just yet. I’m to entangled with Mass Effect 2 right now, so I won’t get much time for Dark Void any time soon. Hit the break for the full details.
